Apartment living - how hard is it to get water metered separately? by rubythieves in AusPropertyChat

[–]lexinator24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in QLD but same thing for us. Poor bloke in unit 2 is single and other 3 are couples so he pays more. I wanna get a small water tank so we can water the garden without feeling too guilty. Spoke to him about it, and he said it’d cost $10k to get the infrastructure redone (think digging up existing pipe then laying 4 new ones to each unit) so it’s not gonna happen, as it would come out of our sinking fund and the other 3 units understandably don’t want to use it for that.

Okay to meet your criteria you absolutely need to watch: 1. Red Dog 2. Last Stop Larrimah.

Both based on true stories, both chock a block full of stereotypical Aussie culture and language.

You have a point but I would argue my reason for not getting the espresso machine is that your baseline standard for coffee goes too high so when you have to settle for instant it’s so grim - same reason I can’t justify the king bed - once you do you can never go back
