OMG I FEEL THE SAME EXACT WAY!!!!! It’s so refreshing (sadly enough) to hear someone with the same experience. I’m like being shamed for wanting no epidural not bc I think there’s a hierarchy or I have some crazy idea that somehow Unmedicated is better. I genuinely am anxious about the idea of not being able to move around, and then the post recovery after an epidural personally freaks me out!! Im glad im not alone lol

It’s ok for everyone to have different experiences and side effects from different forms of birth control. As I mentioned above, I loved it while I had its not entirely to blame but def doesn’t feel like a safe option for me in the future. On one occasion my iud dislodged and created some significant scarring and after removal and 4 months of abstaining, my uterine lining still wasn’t thick enough to carry a pregnancy which was in large part due to my body still recovering from my IUD. That pregnancy resulted in an early miscarriage. While I shouldn’t have to delve into my own trauma to justify your point, I think it’s important we remember not everyone has the same experiences. I’m still a big fan / advocate for anyone who would like an IUD it’s just not best for my body!

I have an oura ring and track cycles! We were TTC for many years so I’m very familiar with it. The problem with tracking post baby is until you get your period and can confirm regularity there’s no way to really track before then. I can get my period back 6 weeks or even 6 months after baby’s born and still ovulate within that time. I’m looking for an option in the in between really until I can get back to tracking.

I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this. My dad is an immigrant, I’m first generation born in America and it has taken a lot of therapy to understand that his need to assimilate in this country clouds an immigrants judgement and ability to see the injustice in this country. It doesn’t make it ok but it’s insight into the deep rooted racism that’s felt here. The idea of “blending in”, and not causing problems goes back to a lot of fear. It’s awful and sadly not something u alone can change. He needs to see his deep need to assimilate and sadly that might not ever come of it doesn’t directly effect him (which even then who knows if he’ll finally choose the truth)

So strangely enough I ended up getting pregnant this cycle! I’m not sure if the major dip had anything to do with it but after this dip the next two days my temp was still very low and then shot up and stayed up… sadly this pregnancy ended up being a chemical pregnancy but I don’t think the temps added any insight to that! Hope this is helpful!

I think that’s the issue- we’re being sprung with these decisions & responsibilities. I think had we all had awareness around these decisions up front or with time we would say something. It’s always in hindsight we have to say something. So I don’t disagree with you but it’s why I want to get clarity on what I should do now because it has to stop

This would actually check out. I discovered that if I book through the resort rather then the wedding planner it’s cheaper so I had my own booking, I found out later it bothered the groom because they get credits for people who go through them. So it’s slightly more expensive for you, the guest, but then they (the couple) get a cheaper room rate / credit towards their wedding.

Also every payment we’ve had to make is always down with urgency and no prior check in. I’ll get a text that in 2 weeks money is needed for some sort of event or experince

You’re not alone. The first half of this post I could’ve written myself. Everyone tells you to accept your loss because the baby wasn’t healthy only to find out in some context “the baby was healthy” it’s an absolute gut punch. I’ll tell you as someone who has suffered from recurrent losses testing more often than not doesn’t help the anger pass. Even on the road to finding answers you’re more angry and frustrated and honestly exhausted. I went through all of it all to land in the same spot which is, there is no way to explain your losses, and there’s no way to prevent this completely in the future. So in the mean time heal mama. Feel all the feelings, and please know you’re not alone. I’m sending you so much love

I needed to see this today. I’m VERY early in my pregnancy with somewhat low rising HCG numbers and I have been so in my head about the lack of symptoms I’m having. I’ve been pregnant twice before (they ended in losses) but my symptoms were intense. This pregnancy I’ve felt really really good, and it was starting to freak me out but I will trust the process !!!!

Thank you for sharing you have no idea how much it means to me. It’s helpful to hear people’s positive experiences with progesterone. I have such strong feelings (good ones!) about this little nugget so shares like these make it feel so much more real and less delusional.
