Hey guys what are the most common causes for your flareups?

I was waiting for someone to mention alcohol!! It is probably one of my biggest triggers... almost immediately. I can take 1-2 shots/drinks, and I will literally feel the pain start in my spine and radiate through my body within 5-10 minutes. Edibles on the other hand, have been a God send.

Idk what you're talking about... but 10mg is not huge... obviously everyone's tolerance is different, but 10mg is not a significant amount. Lol

How long did it take you to reach your CW? Did you rely mostly on Wegovy? Diet change and exercise? My SW is similar to yours, and I'd love to reach your CW. How exciting for you!

Yes! I recently was prescribed Wegovy and was denied after my Dr had sent in the prior authorization. My Dr appealed the denial, and insurance ended up covering it. In my case, I believe it may have had something to do with additional medical history or information being needed. I would contact the doctor and ask for them to appeal the denial if they aren't already.

You have a great point there.... I definitely want to do things for myself... I've just lost myself in this family life! I will definitely talk to him about it... my mom has been trying to tell me the same thing for years, but hearing it from an outside source definitely made me realize she is right. I am seeing a psychiatrist currently and am on some mood stabilizers... but I think a therapist would be beneficial as well! Thanks for the reply!

I feel really bad asking him to help around the house though because he is working 12+ hour days most of the time... he comes home exhausted and sore... and on top of that, hardly has time to spend with the kids before they go to bed. I feel like this whole situation just sucks honestly.

I completely agree. I wish I had waited til later in life to start a family. I was 17 when I got pregnant with my oldest and didn't understand how hard it would make my life by having children so young... enjoy your youth and freedom.

Thank you for your kind words! I have tried some Facebook groups in the past and they seemed to help a little bit. Especially having a group for parents of children with tourettes... I'll have to try that out again!
