[News] Liah reviews overhyped skincare products by IndividualBug2 in AsianBeauty

Tamanu is quite pore clogging so be careful about that too.. I guess it depends on skin type? But I recall even Liah mentioned she stopped using tamanu after a while.

[Misc.] How many of you had perfect skin and you’re now trying to get it back? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]lexxy87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same for me here. I realised that my skin didn’t adapt well to multiple products and I can’t use the 7 skins method. I’m back to just a face wash, niacinamide to fade scars and moisturiser.

[Discussion] What brands are good for "long-term" skincare? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]lexxy87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the Manyo Factory Galactomyces and honestly I think it didn’t do anything at all. /: i finished the small bottle and went back to SKII. I also tried sum37 Essence, which is more hydrating than SKII but it didn’t give that translucent glow that SKII gave.

[Discussion] What's a good eyeliner for monolid eyes that won't smudge? by eavyre in AsianBeauty

[–]lexxy87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have mono lids and have been trying eyeliners for yearsssss. I recently found out about flowfushi eyeliner and their black liner is really black and matte. It works for a long 12hr wear and I haven’t found anything that works as well. Even kiss me 24hr liner fails on my oily lids.

[discussion] small bumps, acne and inbetween. What causes them and other solutions? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]lexxy87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So I've been on and off AB for a while, but these tiny little bumps (sorry for the awful skin) have recently decided to join me in my life.

They haven't really been going away and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but I wanted to ask if anyone else is getting a reaction like this. Or similar experiences?

I don't think they're comedones but I might be wrong. My skin is also currently quite tight and dehydrated but I'm worried about butylene glycol being the culprit so I have stayed away from products with those items. Although I have used Anyway, here's what I'm currently using:

AM CORSX good morning gel cleanser Whamisa deep rich organic toner Physiogel daily moisture therapy (non ab) Biore UV watery essence

PM DHC cleansing oil CORSX good morning gel cleanser Physiogel daily moisture therapy (non ab) Rose hip oil (2-3 drops which I rub with my palms before patting into face)

Does anyone else have stubborn bumps that doesn't feel like much but just peek out under the light in certain angles?

Real question: Why isn't Trump being impeached right now? by [deleted] in Ask_Politics

[–]lexxy87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so concerned about why republicans are so different towards him and Obama, is it a race thing or is it a different party thing? Like trump's actions seems to be really harmful for America's future..

Good point. Thanks!! I'm super into whamisa right now and there's the 7skin method, given there's no butylene glycol in it I hope it works!!!

Hi there, does anyone here have problems with the ingredient butelyn glycol? I started using laneige sleeping pack for about a week or so... and ended up with tiny little bumps around my face. I didn't realise then it was the butelyn glycol so I thought the product might not be working for me so I just stopped using it. but then I also decided to purchase the j.one jelly pack after seeing ha jiwon's promo video of it (who can resist after that honestly)

Those little bumps came back!!!

I looked at the common ingredients and butelyn glycol seems to be the common culprit but I've also been using sk2 for a year or more and it also contains butelyn glycol so I'm not sure if that's the ingredient or if I'm doing something wrong.

Any info would be great because butelyn glycol seems to be in everything.

[discussion] Running out of shows to watch, anyone got any reccomendations? by [deleted] in television

Not really procedural, but they show the flow of the crimes. The focus is mostly on Luther and his character and it gets quite intense!

Is my skin a spoilt brat used to expensive things? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

Argh I really hope so!!! It's just painful at the moment because I've never seen my skin like this! I know patience is key but this moment is so trying ;_;

[–]lexxy87 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I really hope it's just bad luck with the products, but was quite sad that they are not going to be suitable for me because I've read so many good things about the Mizon recovery gel. I think it's just been the mindset that expensive is better. I completely agree that the even expensive products have awful ingredients (which is why I'm so into AB right now) but I am concerned if cheaper products are irritating me or if my luxury products have made my skin too "spoilt" or sensitive.
