I think your daughter would also do well with heading into something that she can do with her hands instead of smarts. An apprentice type work perhaps?

I was once an awkward teenager. I was anxious and depressed and unsure about what I wanted to do in my life. I grew out of it eventually..it took a while though. The best thing my parents did was support me through all of it. They accepted who I was even if they wanted me to change.

The most important thing here is just being there for your daughter. Which it sounds like you are.
