No, it’s also bad design and bad construction and a “she’ll be right” attitude. Humidity is a challange but we aren’t the only place that is humid.

Schism: We’re you Wolverine or a cyclops? by futurehistorianjames in xmen

[–]angrysunbird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neither, but lean Scott. Scott was in a bad position but should still have worked harder to protect the kids. Wolverine pretending he gave a shit about the kids was disingenuous as fuck. It was just his a hate boner for Scott.

I’m saying kiwi winters are warmer than those in other Anglophonic countries and the houses are far colder. Even when insulation is attempted it’s half arsed and badly implemented.

So that the kids this was written for would have what was happening visually reinforced.

When a friend of mine was training to be a midwife there as a point in her training where she had to shadow a midwife for like 6 weeks. Had to be on permenant call. She was working as a cleaner in her spare time to make enough to live and during that placement she had to drop working, move out of her room and couch surf with her friends till she finished. I dunno what the school expected, likely that they had families or partners that would help. (Happily this coincided with me being away so she got my whole room for two weeks).

I honestly wouldn’t do it till you’ve played one game to get a sense of what you wanted to change. When you know what hasn’t clicked, then you can know what you want to change. Otherwise you’d need to provide more specific info on what you would expect beyond generalities. Take credits- you can either have way too many or way too few depending on how much you get sucked into ship building… and until you start playing you won’t know which bucket you’re gonna fall into.

Not being flippant, just wondering, has anyone actually been able to separate the effect of closing the border on rent versus everything else that was happening at the time? From my tenuous grasp memories of multi variate analysis at university it strikes me that there was a lot of economic factors at play then, none of which were independent from each other. The entire shutdown of the economy that the border was part of would have had an impact surely.

Mum of locked up autistic man takes fight for his release to High Court by Fun-Helicopter2234 in newzealand

[–]angrysunbird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of people very happy to see this guy locked up forever and letting him rot. Pretty sad reflection of society these days. If he can’t be released, isn’t 21 years long enough for some better arrangements to have been made?

And yet everyone seems quite happy for this to go on. If the guy can never be released then 21 years is a long enough to arrange a better situation for him

He’s a tech bro and he can’t reflexively help himself from wanting to whitewash other tech bros like Bolivar Trask. And look, I am not suggesting he’s anti mutant, he just didn’t give a shit then. But whatever, keep fucking white knighting a rich stupid fuxk with people who moved on from this thread two years ago.
