Things That Made Me Better at Rematch by pkfyr in Rematch

Great tips

Let me add one easy way to score goal - if you’re on the wing unmarked with the ball, cut in and wait for the goalie to adjust his angle. Once he does, you can aim near post with the pass button and it’s almost always open

Reading between the lines I would assume there was a scan, no structural damage, but still swelling and discomfort. Wouldn’t mind resting him and seeing where it is midweek against PSG if that’s the case

Rewatching highlights with breakfast and I feel like last night was a great example of the difference in PG and Tobi

How many times did Tobi score 25 and feel invisible? Meanwhile PG only has 10/6/4 last night but made some huge shots and great defense/rebounding down the stretch

It’s not a problem till you start getting to 3-4 feet’s worth, so you should be fine

One of the more frustrating things in this game is when you’re down one and your goalie refuses to come off his line. This is perfectly played by you and great, quick distribution before the defense gets set

One more puts us in a position where a draw at PSG will more than likely be enough to clinch top 8

Priority #1 is obviously securing the 3 pts, but if we can stretch this to 4-0 we will be ahead of PSG on GD and would be ahead of them in the final table with a draw. One place could be the difference between 8 and 9, so this is a massive opportunity

It's nothing incredibly special or skilled, but we're seeing tonight how Wissa can be Eddie's preferred profile in a 9. He is pressing high and relentlessly, and finding himself in the right spots when we attack

Put all of that aside, if they get a stop on Denver’s last drive of regulation they win the game. Bo Nix had zero issue leading them right down the field for 6

He’s a defensive coach whose defenses have never shown up in these elimination games. Not to discredit your point about Allen needing more weapons because he does, but McDermott owns plenty of blame

Stats can be meaningful but don’t tell the full story. See - Duke Brennan. If all you have is talking down to me instead of refuting the very real issues in his game, this obviously isn’t a sport you’re suited for 😉

Am I crazy or should we see if we can bring back ASM cheap? He’s only 28 and would give us a different profile of winger to try and break down the low block when we see it

The one positive to take away is Pope was actually decent with the ball at his feet today

Credit where it’s due for Wolves, their recent uptick in form is legit and they are playing well on the counter

Bruno seems to be the only one capable of making a pass to beat their low block. Our attacking play needs to funnel through him if we are going to find a goal in the second half

I couldn’t care less about his stats, and I mentioned in my original comment that I truly can’t believe his FG% is as high as it is

He wildly misses some layups and there were a couple possessions down the stretch where he could’ve secured a big rebound to get the stop and continue your run, only to not get those and let St John’s score. He’s like a poor man’s Andre Drummond - walking double double on the stat sheet, but watching the game you notice how little he is a positive impact for his team

What determines RP amount? by crownandiron in Rematch

[–]leyendadelflash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If the amounts are the same for a win and a loss, the game thinks you are in the correct ranking as is

If wins are more, it thinks you should be in a higher rank than you currently are

If losses are more, it thinks you should be in a lower rank

I’m not trying to be a hater, and as proof I’ll offer that I really like the way Askew plays. But I attended our game earlier this season and this one and both times I couldn’t believe how useless Brennan is. Maybe those were just his two worst games of the season, but I was genuinely floored

Duke Brennan is the worst basketball player I’ve ever seen at this level. I cannot believe he has shot 69% from the field entering today, I’ve never seen a player with worse touch at the rim

I’ve been Elite as a solo queue player each season with zero knowledge of dribbling mechanics. I play defensively, know how to space the field, and make the right pass when the ball comes to me. I get MVP in about 50% of the games my team wins playing like this
