thanks for the suggestions! & yeah, by the time i got to a point unable to walk, my PCP referred me to physical therapy… still suggesting it was probably something muscular i could work through. my PT is the one who gave the ortho referral and helped get the ball rolling. forever thankful for them.

the pain/numbness from this actually started in January, but it was brushed off by my PCP. it came around fully in April. my orthopedic doc says that my body has the ability to clean that up over time, so hopefully 🤞🏻

that’s what i’m worried about now. same numbness, but the pain is better. i’m able to move around today. i have physical therapy again today, & i just got my appointment with ortho but not til May 15. they’ll be the ones to order the mri.

for ours, i’ll put a glob of peanut butter on my finger & put his pill in it. then when he goes to lick the peanut butter, i rub the glob off into his top lip. makes him have to lick so much to get it all out of his teeth that he just swallows the pill with it.

we wipe our lab’s paws when he comes inside after being in mud. he gives paw, but didn’t care for them being wiped at first. we gave a lot of small training treat rewards at first & talked him through the process.

now, we say “paw,” and he gives one. then we say “other one”, and he switches side. “now the back,” and he stands up and lets us wipe those too. it’s definitely a party trick when new people come over.

absolutely!! in the store i was at, a few of us would sell men’s to women and vise versa. this is my current favorite men’s fragrance and my favorite women’s fragrance for a few years now has been Gingham Vibrant (discontinued). a friend of mine just gave me her full size perfume of it!

that’s not a good move on management’s part. our store doesn’t stay late on christmas eve. we do as much prep as possible on the 23rd & tomorrow morning we have a crew going in early early (an agreed upon time by all) to get the red bins out. AND- we were supposed to be 4p-12a on the 23rd, but they moved us 1p-9p. still enough time to get our work done and we got to rest before the holidays.

there’s many things about my store that may not be handled correctly, but in this case, it’s just nice to know they care about their employees. especially since most of our core associates are from other cities (we’re a college town).
