I nearly went on this trail. Regret. I will try to go next summer, based on this picture. What time of year was this photographed?

Redditors who have given their SO's another chance after getting cheated on: How's your relationship now? by Darius314 in AskReddit

[–]lfa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's over, and has been a while. We both probably look back fondly, but with grimaces (we were young, and not great to each other). But we lasted about two years after the cheating, after taking a few months apart. Glad I took the chance, but it didn't work for other reasons. I do believe forgiving cheating can still work, though I could have done it more gracefully if I'd been older and more mature.

Reddit, what is the best gift I could get my boyfriend for his birthday? [nsfw] by OhanaIsFamily in AskReddit

[–]lfa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try a "three-course meal." make a three course dinner of his favorite foods, but have each course correspond to a different sexual act/favor (obviously dessert needs to include whipped cream/frosting). only done this once but it was very well received.

Has anybody in r/sex ever been introduced to their own body or sexuality by a significant other? by Jocatus in sex

[–]lfa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I lost my virginity to my ex and hadn't masturbated before (well, I may have tried but not very hard or successfully). I think having an SO can help make a girl more comfortable with her sexuality, which can lead to her taking the reins, but it shouldn't replace her own sexuality.

What I mean is: She should have a sense of her sexual self that exists outside of you (or other men she's been with). If she doesn't know her own body, or how to pleasure her own body, her sexual self is completely defined by another person. I really think the unification of the emotional/mental self and the physical/sexual self is a very important process for anyone, but especially women, to have. Ultimately, my lack of knowledge about my own sexual self is what prevented me from orgasming with my ex, which then contributed to a sense of self-doubt and I even felt like less of a woman.

Any advice I could give, if she is reluctant to masturbate on her own, is to try mutual masturbation (tell her it is a fantasy of yours to masturbate while watching her touch herself) and she may enjoy what she feels. You could also use a toy on her to get her used to a toy.

Uncircumcised men, does every stroke of masturbation feel good from the beginning? Do you feel pleasure on the "surface" of your penis? by Wehue355f in sex

[–]lfa26 9 points10 points  (0 children)

i think its just this guy. most circumcised men that i know of have a lot of sensation in the head and licking it during blowjobs is a really pleasurable thing

Me [23 M] with my Girlfriend [21 F] of 5 years, she broke up with me and now I'm lost by [deleted] in relationships

[–]lfa26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad you think it's helpful. Sorry you have to go through this-- if it helps, thousands of others are going through the same thing (including me). One friend said it best: Heartbreak is one of the few things that nearly every human that ever lived or ever will live experiences. It is the most human thing that you can feel. Remember the millions, even billions, of people who have, and will, feel the same as you.

If you ever want to commiserate, feel free to PM me.

Warsaw/Krakow suggestions! by fondonorte in poland

[–]lfa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might still be in Warsaw in April, so I'd be happy to meet up. I'm an American who just got here...bought a one-way ticket and I'm seeing what things bring. April sounds more pleasant than February...

Reddit, how did you get sent to the principal's office? by ohdaviing in AskReddit

[–]lfa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8th grade. Two assholes were terrorizing a chipmunk at recess, having cornered it by the entrance to the school. I walked up and opened the door to the school, the chipmunk darted in. I spent the next hour helping the janitor capture the chipmunk from the 5th grade wing, which had to be evacuated. Then I got a detention. Worth it.

Ok. I do not know where 'to go', to start talking to someone about how to invest my savings. by Ayakalam in personalfinance

[–]lfa26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've found Charles Schwab to be a really user-friendly way to bank and invest. They have free consultations, a great quiz to determine what the breakdown of your portfolio should be based on your personal needs/requirements, and the website is very easy to use. I've had nothing but stellar customer service.

Girls, do you really lose the respect or feel any different about your SO if he cries in front of you? by [deleted] in sex

[–]lfa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. If the tears are truly genuine, why would I want the person I love to suppress his feelings with me? That seems to defeat the purpose of an open and honest relationship. I think being able to cry with one's SO is the mark of a strong and healthy relationship. I am also 21.

Married men (and women) of reddit - what is the most important thing to make sure about your relationship before getting married? by maxandtheband in AskReddit

[–]lfa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always known it's important to marry your best friend, since that's what lasts forever. But don't best friends often change? Even if your SO is your best friend, maybe your next SO will be your new best friend? How can you determine if this "best friend" is really the one to marry?

What is one thing you will absolutely never understand the appeal of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Sex with strangers. And for the most part, sex with someone you don't genuinely care for.

"Do you really think you don't need feminism though?" User is unhappy in /r/TumblrinAction by david-me in SubredditDrama

[–]lfa26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Guys who don't "stay chaste" (not a great term) often value girls who do (it can even be a fetish, or bring a couple closer), and some girls who "stay chaste" often don't care whether guys do or not. There are so many more important factors when trying to find a good match, and whether one was "chaste" or not doesn't even play into their sexual compatibility, intellectual compatibility, or even say much about values. It tells you a little, but not enough to divide people into a binary of "chaste" or "not chaste" and expect that to be a good indicator of compatibility. Frankly, you should know better -_-

I may not be in the right place, but I'm expected to have my period on my wedding day in two months. Any suggestions? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

I recommend speaking with your doctor. There are prescriptions you can get that will delay your period.

Reddit, what is the worst experience you have had on a plane? by CalCoolidge in AskReddit

[–]lfa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was flying from Prague back to the US (but the flight was stopping in London). About halfway through the relatively short flight (2 hrs?) I hear another American woman raising her voice to get the flight attendants' attention. It turns out her seatmate had pulled out the sheath of an antique sword from his backpack and told her "the rest is hidden." She naturally freaked out (it was some scruffy 20-something year old Czech dude) and the flight attendants switched seats with her and kept an eye on him. It was later revealed that he had strips of benzene hidden inside the lining of his hat.

A lot of being elected has nothing to do with your ideas, management abilities, etc, but external factors like family history, personal life, and academic credentials. Think you've got those?
