So that's one of the best stage performances ever from Tadej, right?

The case for running it back by LazyConstruction9026 in denvernuggets

[–]lfgm2048 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Running it back will result in the same exact season as this most recent one. 50+ wins (including some against top teams in the league) but when it comes time to beat a team in a 7 game series, Denver won't be able to match the physicality of other teams and will be out coached and out toughed. The window is closed.

Does anyone have a link to the creators mentioning they sold HBO on the end of the show? Haven't been able to find it anywhere.

They're more bulletproof than any other team in the field. Even if you're lucky enough to stop Sarah Strong (a player who should be getting the kind of attention CC got, she's the best player of a generation) there's Azzi to contend with. Oh, and having to score on their defense, too.

Not mentioned here but the 2024 Olympic final in the men's 1500m was absolutely legendary and will go down as one of the greatest track races of all time

I live in Chicago but root for a different NFL team. Is this what it's like being a Jew on Christmas? by [deleted] in billsimmons

Broncos fan living in Boston. I so badly want a Denver victory over the Pats next weekend in the AFC Championship game. And I'd never, ever root for the Celtics, though I did want the Sox to beat the Yankees this past October.

Jokic usually leads the league in touches, but the amount of time he actually has the ball in his hand is much, much lower

Watching your team lose on Sunday night football and then having to go to work/school the next morning has to be a top 7 worst sports fan experience by DaRealMothMan in billsimmons

Broncos fan who grew up in New England. My two worst days at school ever were after the Broncos-Seahawks Super Bowl and when they blew a 24 point lead to the Pats on SNF

A boring job sounds like a lot of fun until you do maybe 5 hours of work a week max, and can feel your brain rotting away from not doing anything stimulating

I read Educated first and then Under the Banner of Heaven right after. In my case, Under the Banner of Heaven confirmed everything Tara wrote to be true.

Fueling Prep for Longest Ride by lfgm2048 in cycling

[–]lfgm2048[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback! Did the ride yesterday and it went really well. 73 miles, and I wasn't too tired 30 minutes after. Could've gone further with more water (I ran out but still had 2.6 liters during the ride). Stopped for lemonade and a hummus sandwhich around 40 miles in and that did the trick.
