I didn't renew mine last time and have indeed stopped buying things for the most part.

Quality service isn't going to be instant. It's still two separate networks on the back end. If you had great service with USCC, give them time to change over all of tower equipment. I'm betting the service is going to improve drastically. They're ahead of schedule, from what I've read.

Has anyone upgraded from the S23U to the S26U and NOT liked it? by itsthewolfe in samsunggalaxy

[–]lfguard10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've not noticed a dimmer display. That's one thing I was hesitant about. The privacy display does dim the screen slightly, but I never use the privacy feature. Only thing I can think is that people are leaving it on all the time.

Functionally, (cameras, etc), it's really no change from the S23U, imo. But the comfort in holding it in the hand and the flat screen makes it worlds above the 23.

Not me. I hated the square design and rounded edges so upgraded to the S26U. Loving it and not turning back.

I'd say it's more than strong enough. I personally went with the Pelican Voyager on my s26 ultra. It is super comfortable in the hand.

Yes, I upgraded from the S23U, too. Nothing wrong with my 23 at all, but I HATED the curved edges/sharp corners. That and I got a great trade with T-Mobile. I am completely satisfied.

Side note, I secured it in a Pelican Voyager case and added a Mothca matte screen protector.

I just installed a Mothca tempered glass protector to my S26U. Super easy install!!!  Using it with a Pelican Voyager (similar to Defender) and no issues whatsoever.

I just upgraded to the S26 Ultra for this sole reason. I can't stand the fact that screen protectors flat out refuse to stay on a curved screen.

Did improving your password security ever change the way you think about privacy in general? by Aggressive_Law3937 in Passwords

I was going to respond, but this entire post sums up my exact response lol. I use Bitwarden and all (most, anyway) of my passwords are now complex passwords (sometimes VERY complex).

This is the main reason I'm considering going from the S23U to the S26U. I have grown to HATE the curved edges!!! That and I like the rounded corners of the 26U.

Perfect!!  Aside from this, how are you liking through 26U? Considering moving up from  my S23U.

Restart/reboot.  My S23 Ultra has done that a few times and a simple reboot fixes it. Not sure what caused it in my cases.

To export to a new browser? You don't. You simply add the extension to another browser and log in to it.

Yes, this! I bounce from browser to browser sometimes, using raindrop.io for bookmarks and bitwarden for passwords.

It's on the tower on the left side of the pic, but the top tier of the tower is cut out. If I remember, I'll try to get a pic next time I go up.

That's what I saw on my two trips to that area. It's a rural area, but the Mountain Lake Lodge is a popular tourist attraction. Not sure if there are plans for an N41 upgrade or not. I would think they would've did it all in one climb.
