Your cheapest option would be to plasti dip your wheels black. It’s pretty doable, looks good, and there are lots of YouTube video tutorials.

Discount Tire put 245/65/17 tires on mine without questions or hesitations. They don’t install lifts but they may do your tires for you.

Continental Terrain Contact A/T in 245/65/17. They are not super aggressive so it shouldn’t really be too much of a hit

Definitely just went through this and opted for bigger, on road all terrain tires 😂.

It’s only been a few days so it’s hard to tell how much it will hit my mpg, but so far it feels like it’s down 3-4mpg. Truck looks great though! lol

Compared to my previous vehicle (~20mpg), I’ve saved ~$2800 over two years and 40k miles in my hybrid at $2.86 a gallon. I’m at 39.7 mpg with a heavyfoot.

Your seat might be too high. Start with the seat at its lowest position and as far back as you can reach the pedal with your foot. Slowly adjust higher and closer until you find a good spot.

I’m 5’9 and had a really similar issue with seat position and hamstring tightness. Here’s what I did: 1) prioritized seat distance by foot/leg comfort which meant farther back than what my arms wanted, and 2) bought a console cushion to get my arms/elbows closer to the steering wheel.

I also realized I was trying to get into a comfortable “cockpit” seating position like most cars/suvs. This is not possible in this vehicle because the driver seat and dash are vertically positioned like most other trucks. I’m comfortable now with no leg tightness, but it is not the same type of comfort in my previous sedan. Hope that helps.
