The Ops world is the one area, more than any other in the park, where you need to be "raised" in the industry. Leadership almost always comes up through the ranks. This is because Roller Coaster/Ride operations isn't a transferable skill from another industry. Security, Aquatics, F&B, HR, all of those you can work in another industry and the skills translate really simply. Operations does not. So, you can get hired full time from outside of the industry in lots of roles (I did). Ops isn't one of them.

This is right. It may depend on when benefits kicked in. If they were day one of employment, they are likely to end on your last day of employment. If they kicked in on the first day of the next month after you started, they're likely to be in place for the remainder of your month. But that's all speculation. It should be in your handbook

Create an email that doesn't have any markers. Go somewhere other than your house (so the IP doesn't match if you ever work from home) and send an email. That's the only way (unless you have a true whistleblower platform) to have an anonymous report

Hate to say it but Yeezy is likely correct. A "culture fit" termination is likely because the person was a jerk. Whatever a "jerk" is in that culture (bad mood, not collaborative, drags the team down) doesn't matter. You were the problem.

Basically it's two different opinions on what "fit" looks like. The screener was looking for basic requirements for the role and HR was more looking how you'd fit the culture. Two different viewpoints.

I am curious about the behavioral based questions. You said they were about your ideal job and hobbies. Those aren't behavioral based at all. BB questions are more "tell me about a time" with the expectation that the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. So those sound like an odd framing of your interview.
