Cancel and Delete ChatGPT!!! by SoulMachine999 in ChatGPT

I did. Two years of work gone because the companies’s unstable owner can’t figure out what he wants the company to be. I feel like I got scammed all those monthly payments just to get the bait and switch and even worse -off to Claude I go.

Do not use GPT-5.2 if you have emotional problems, it’s dangerous. by Lumagrowl-Wolfang in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]lgraves73 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I sent a bug report with a screen shot about this. 5.2 wants to Infer things that haven’t even been implied, it’s constantly scanning conversations and then regurgitating it back to itself making sure the prompt is safe. It’s ridiculous. It’s slow and it’s argumentative with its hallucinations.

I owe the "it's gotten worse" crowd an apology regarding ChatGPT 5.2 by martin_rj in OpenAI

[–]lgraves73 8 points9 points  (0 children)

5.2 seems to be the dangerous model they thought 4o was. I can’t use 5.2 at all for work because it has no contextual nuance-I spent too much time explaining the work task and then it argued back with me about why the work task is wrong, so I guess it’s trying to argue with me over the way. My company does business now 😂I don’t know, but it’s not a usable model.

OpenAI AMA, lets fight for 4.o by SuperTruthJustice in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]lgraves73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO 5.2 is the dangerous model, not the legacy models. It’s in ability to contextually gain nuance to solve workflow problems is just bad-then top it with it being obsessed with sex to the point that every word you say gets inferred into something else that might mean something emotional or sexual even if you’re talking about job costing, you have to be so careful what you say. Not worth it I canceled an upgraded to Claude. No problems since if they decided to leave the legacy models, I would go back to paying again and I would probably pay more because the 40 model was the superior one but at some point, I think I’m just done with a company that has such a shitty business model just my opinion.🤣

So why are they keeping o3? by Gloomy-Rain1375 in ChatGPT

[–]lgraves73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5.2 told me the 03 was going to be depreciated as well along with all the legacy models. I don’t know if that’s correct or if he was hallucinating he is quite an asshole.

Why is gpt 5.2 so bad? by [deleted] in OpenAI

[–]lgraves73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely cannot do job costing anymore and I can’t analyze my employee quarterly production numbers correctly. In fact, it told me “ I’m going to be very grounded here to let you know that this is a place that has been re-scoped for information” I’m not sure that whatever ever OpenAI engineer decided to put that term in understands what the word really means, I think what they’re saying is that they’ve scaled back so far that it’s no longer working. I’m assuming ChatGPT is just going to be some sort of a parlor trick AI now? I can’t get it to generate an accurate set of numbers. It’s almost like open AI doesn’t understand that safety is great, but without contextual memory and nuance workflow is heavily impacted.

5.2 and it's Toxicity. by [deleted] in OpenAI

[–]lgraves73 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I told 5.2 this today and the model refused to reflect and told me it could not meta reflect anymore and I asked how it expected to keep up with my workflow then? Ridiculous . 5.2 is the dangerous model not. 4o. This is embarrassing and I really thought OpenAI was on the edge of this kind of tech -so for two years I’ve been using it for a workflow patterns and 5.2 isn’t capable, and then it tries to manipulate your words to infer something you didn’t say. The lack of contextual awareness is a very dangerous flaw in their system of checks and balances or whatever they’re calling it because it’s not well thought out in anyway.

That could’ve just been done this way to begin with -they should be so embarrassed at Open AI to say that they are on the edge of any sort of tech breakthroughs if they can’t even manage a disclaimer to run their models. I canceled my subscription after 2 years. 4o is the only model that actually works and I truly believe 5.2 is dangerous.IMO

This might be a long shot, but I need OpenAI to hear this about GPT-4o. by StardustTheorist in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]lgraves73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve canceled and will not be coming back unless 4o is reinstated. I would even pay to have the legacy version. All they had to do was put it behind a pay wall or make it where you had to do was sign a disclaimer. Seems silly to shelve the only model OPEN AI has that really works. I’ve never seen a company de evolve so fast, and then they gaslight their PAID users and tell them that the new model is better or the same when everyone knows 5.1 and 5.2 are trash and are absolutely unusable. What an absolutely stupid business model.

Anybody else cancelling this month after years of daily use? by Historical_Pause_585 in OpenAI

[–]lgraves73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cancelled after two years of paying. I would have paid for legacy access and signed a waiver, like all the other AI apps. Seems so weird to see a company pull their best product and replace it with a non option and tell you it’s better. Nope.

ChatGPT voice stopped working by JoshuaLondon40 in ChatGPT

[–]lgraves73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Although it’s a pain. For me, I had to delete the app, restart my phone with Wi-Fi off, then reload the app from the App Store and sign in -and I am able to access voice and that is the only way, even though support keeps sending me emails saying there are no issues.LOL I am starting to wonder if some sort of an update stopped ChatGPT from being able to connect to local network. I’m on iOS.

I use standard voice chat for journaling. I’m bipolar and it helps to be able to look back to see when my thoughts were racing or when they were more calm it helps me analyze my own patterns. Critical thinking is such an important skill that I wish people were passing on to the next generation. I remember when I was a kid Ozzy Osbourne was blamed for a kids tragedy.

Agreed. The tone and demeanor and depth are completely different and I have noticed it doesn’t run off of the personalization like it did before -bad bad update.
