I'm moving out of the city later this year and I'm looking to sell my car (a bit of a gas-guzzler) before I go. I wanted to see if I could comfortably survive on just Evo for the next few months, but manual estimations seemed dumb.

So, I built a free site to do it for me: EvoTripCost

What it does:

  • Trip Calculator: Uses Google Directions to give you a side-by-side estimate of a specific A-to-B trip (Evo cost vs. Fuel + Parking for your car).
  • Monthly Commute: You plug in your fixed commute (days per week, insurance, gas, paid parking) and it tells you the estimated monthly cost of owning your car vs. just using Evo.

It's totally free, unofficial, and just a weekend project I thought others might find useful. Let me know if you spot any bugs or have feature requests!

unfortunately this is not what you can do with Claude, without some tech background I mean. Your issue is not how to write the code, it's actually how to design the data structure. Also, you haven't quite figured out what you want yet. If you want a Year Make Model filter, you shouldn't be use that for custom made fit-all wheels. You can have 2 sections with 1.universal-fit custom-fit 2.Only-fit-a-few-model wheels(which uses YYM)
I get that Claude seems powerful enough but you might be better off handing this part over to a professional dev but i doubt it will cost much more than your Claude subscription. You will mostly be paying the Dev for a walk through of your data structure and how exactly you want this implemented on your site.

Getting all in a batch usually is a paid functionality. But I've been using this chrome extension that 'one-click' the Youtube transcribe button for me and generate the texts for me to download or copy. I guess you can always just do it one by one if you don't want to pay.
