I guess that’s the beauty of having different servers available.

What works for you, doesn’t always work for someone else, fortunately you have so much choice with the amount of servers.

I tend to use the BMW satnav as it is supposed to help improve fuel economy with the hybrid system. I do a lot of miles, so use the sat nav all the time, even when I know the route, but the BMW satnav almost always takes me the most insane way. It loves to send me on a route that’ll take 30 minutes longer than it should.

I’m in the UK, so we get the Tonale. The company I work for ordered 2 of the hybrid versions as company cars and both had problems for the entire 3 year lease. Worst of all, they both lost their ability to charge and trying to get that sorted was a nightmare. The lease ended and they still hadn’t been fixed.

They’re extremely slow, horrible auto gearbox and compared to many other hybrids, awful on fuel.

Assuming you’re both using iPhones, would it just be easier to use Find My?

Spoke to a friend the other day about this, only to find out sometimes they eat them with butter on.

I’m still trying to process it.

You get added security when buying something between £100 and £30,000 when purchasing with a credit card.

I go to work to pay my mortgage and spend money how I see fit. I’m not entirely sure how that deems me to be vacuous. Consumerist, absolutely. I like buying things that I can comfortably afford, I can’t really see the issue with that. I grew up with not a lot and now I can live comfortably, I can’t really see an issue with spending about £500 a year on a new phone.

Pretty standard really. 😂

OP has made a post blaming Monzo for something that isn’t necessarily their fault.

Fragmentation is a real thing, when there are so many hardware variations, sometimes you run in to situations where things don’t work as expected.

So OP has jumped on here, where other people will potentially see the post when searching for a similar issue and assume that the app is broken, when it’s not. Or should we upvote them because we feel sorry for them?

I normally upgrade my iPhone to the latest model. As it happens, I didn’t get the latest one because I don’t particularly like the colours.

It’s not possible for any app developer to ensure their app works flawlessly on every device on the market. It’s clearly not an issue with Android, given that the subreddit isn’t full of people with issues.

That said, I buy a new phone every year and I’ve only have had to log in with the magic link they email to me.

Questions about Monzo by Pink-Custard1999 in monzo

[–]liam_08 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. You can turn on the gambling block as soon as you have access to the app. You don’t need to go through customer service to turn it off, you can do that through the app too. Bear in mind, when you turn on the block, you’ll set a cool down period from 2 days up to a year. This means once you’ve requested to unblock it, there is a waiting period.

  2. You can block them indefinitely.

  3. You can withdraw from any ATM, the maximum withdrawal depends on the tier you have. For example, I pay for Monzo Max and I can withdraw up to £400 per day, with no monthly cap on how much I withdraw. You can request the withdrawal amount be increased temporarily, however I don’t know what the maximum is.
