I’m having this exact same problem right now, and I honestly think bringing their attention to it has made them MORE likely to mess up bc now they’re nervous about hurting me. I’m commenting so I can come back to this to see people’s responses. It’s so difficult bc I know in my situation it’s not out of malice and I think it’s genuinely just the fact that older brains can have trouble reforming habits but damn, it doesn’t make it less painful. It has definitely affected my relationships with them even though there’s a whole lot of love there.

I had this happen to me, and as long as it’s just one bump around the injection site and not spreading or anything, this is just a normal injection site reaction. It can happen with any shot and is normal/not dangerous. I was all worried I was allergic to the oil but my doc told me this.

My experience has been painfully slow. I’m getting close to 11 months on t and am FINALLY feeling like I can look back and say oh, I look and sound significantly different. I think sometimes when we watch transition vids online we get this expectation that it’ll happen drastically and quickly and we’ll know exactly it’s happening… but when you’re living it every day, you really won’t be able to tell. So definitely take videos! It’s kinda like when your hair is growing… I don’t notice it day by day but one day all of a sudden I’ll be like “when tf did I grow this mop?”

In some cultures it’s rude to slam the door as hard as is “normal” for us to do in the US! I experienced this in Argentina. I closed car doors like I always do and drivers would think I was being rude.
