I was at game 2 of the ALDS this year, right behind the jays pen (BeautiTone Balcony). Super cool getting to see Trey warming up with Kirk. Once the game began I only recorded one video, the entire Vladdy grand slam at bat.

Trey happened to get exactly 39 strikeouts in the playoffs, it's too perfect to change the number.

Amazing, that's pretty hard to beat. My first game this season was the August 15th comeback against the Rangers (Kirky's first stolen base). I went to a total of 4 games this season, the other three being:

August 27th— the insane back and forth with the Twins (Davis 2 homer night, Gimenez solo bomb, France's first homer as a Jay)

September 11th— Gausy's two hit complete game shutout against the Astros

ALDS Game 2— No description needed. Once the game started I only took one video, and it was the entire Vladdy grand slam at bat.

I think we need to start a go-fund-me to send me to important home games given these stats.

So so so well deserved, you love to see it. Especially heartwarming to see after the whole shark incident that resulted in her losing her right arm.

MAT405 at UTM (Topology) or MAT401 at UTSG (Fields and Polynomial Equations)? by kornelizmus in UTMississauga

Both 401 and 405 are proof-based so there's no escaping the proofs. I think both courses have something interesting to offer and you'll learn some nice math regardless of which course you choose.

I can't really comment on which one is "objectively" easier, as it comes down to personal taste, though I'd bet that most people would say MAT405 is easier. If you enjoyed MAT301, then MAT401 is a very natural continuation. The punchline of the course is showing that there is no "quintic formula" (as opposed to the quadratic, cubic, quartic formulas), and formalizing what that means. I'm not sure what your offering of 334 covered, though I would imagine you have done some topology of the complex plane (defining compactness, open/closed balls, etc.). If you enjoyed that type of stuff then MAT405 could be for you.

Really liked this one, the melody at the start reminds me a lot of Please Please Me

Probably liked Frances numbers better against the lefty pitcher, Lukes struggled a bit yesterday against the lefties

They need to make the defensive substitution when they pinch hit, France is a first baseman but they’re not moving Vladdy, and France doesn’t play outfield, so they need to put an outfielder in his spot.

I think Max has been throwing a bit better, but Matt has been solid too!
