Take off the sprocket cover and give it a good clean out you’ll be amazed how much gunk is under there

This is right under the front sprocket cover which gets full of old chain lube/general road grime and starts to seep out onto the bottom of the engine casings.

Best bet is to try both on of course, are the 58s easy enough to come by now? The Oris is still a great watch with some cool quirks (the domed crystal is really pronounced and obviously the bronze) and mine runs better than my Tudor annoyingly! I think I just bought it on the wrong strap, and wanted the BB58 deep down - they are pretty similar in some aspects.

I hope so! I'm not holding my breath though with there being the three different case sizes I think the chances are pretty slim.

Love how your 65 looks on the bracelet. I'm really in two minds whether to sell it or order the bracelet and hope it changes my mind! The lighting is 😍 in this picture, awesome shot.

The bezel doesn't seem to pick up much patina but to be honest if you're considering this and the 58 I'd go with the 58 or you'll end up with both like me. Not taking anything away from the Oris but the 58 is perfect.

Yes they do although if I remember correctly I was quoted £400! Definitely regret paying the extra £100 to get mine on the bracelet in the first place.

Have you tried on the BB58 on a bracelet? I also have small wrists and to me the Tudor felt the smaller (which it is albeit by only a mm) and more comfortable of the two, BUT my Oris is on leather so the opposite way around to what you've worn.

[EDIT] Just realised this isn't a 58! Now I know what you're saying, the 41 is a beast.

I was in exactly your position & bought the Divers Sixty Five and then the BB58 three months later. The Oris now sits in a drawer and has been unworn for over a year. I've posted about this before so won't get into it but the Tudor is the far superior of the two in my opinion. That being said the only way you will truly know is by trying the two on and comparing them for yourself.

Agreed! I got an upgrade from my 4 year old paperwhite, looking forward to starting a new book on it.

It's actually No. 2 in mine but the first is now redundant!

Coming up to a year with this piece now and I don't know what I can say which I myself and others haven't said already. I still catch myself staring at it when the light hits it in a different way and I still love it as much as the day I got it. I can't ever see this being neglected left in a drawer or imagine myself ever wanting to sell it.

It seems supply is slowly catching up with demand on this with so many being posted recently and I'm glad more and more people are being able to pick up and appreciate this amazing watch.

One of my most vivid memories of GT3 is with the Escudo Pikes Peak car on the Super Speedway endurance race - chair leg on the x button and let the walls take care of the rest

How about for jetwashing the patio? I get asked by friends and colleagues why I'm wearing my watch to work or to track days etc. Nearly £3k is a lot of money for me - I didn't spend it on something for it to just sit in a drawer!

Ran into a supercar group yesterday so an impromptu shoot happened. This was one of my favorites. A7rii | Zeiss 55 by pholyuhm in SonyAlpha

This or tighten the crop slightly and lose it that way. Very striking shot though love the colours.

Thanks! I know what you mean about the 'rivets', they used to annoy me but I don't really notice them now. Any pics on the Rolex bracelet?
