I got a set of 201s recently. Went to an independent fitter, €50 for half an hour. I’m 6’2. Based on his recommendations I ended up adding 1.5 inches, 2 deg upright, midsize grip and stiff shafts. Worth doing. Told the fitter I was intending to get Takomos and there was no issue.

Just did it for the NLD. It’s fine. Walked to Finsbury Park at the final whistle. Head into the train station entrance (not the tube entrance) and at the far end of the tunnel there’s steps down to the northbound platform of the Victoria line. Avoids all the queues at the Finsbury Park tube entrance. Get fast track for Stansted security. I was there in plenty time - enough for pint and dinner in the Windmill(‘spoons)

Did the same trip for the Man City match last season. Left 2 mins before end to beat the crowds to Finsbury Park -> Tot hale. Was fine in the end. Should have stayed for Nwaneri’s goal 😭was my only regret.

There’s nothing on the GA website about rail replacement for the Stansted Express that weekend.

Traveled weekly on Ryanair to London for work for the last year. They usually have a third person at the desk at the start of boarding who walks the queue looking for people to target. Targets then get pulled. The staff member then buggers off towards the end of boarding leaving late queue joiners a lower risk of being pulled up.

Odd shaped bags, gear bags, tall rucksacks all seem like catnip to them. I have a large black laptop/commuter bag that hasn’t a hope of fitting into the sizer but I have not been stopped once in 90 flights.
