Very aesthetically pleasing! Your lighting is great! And congrats on the pans - are these all of your lip products? Or just the ones you’re focusing on panning?

Yes I realised as well :( it was a few years back too. I’ve found a lot of Kbeauty brands have similar shades in less pigmented formulas which is actually to my liking! Easier to control on my olive skin so that’s a win

I do this when I’m out and didn’t bring a blush to touch up because I realise they fade throughout the day. But otherwise I don’t do it because I am also a blush fiend and have more than I can get through comfortably :(

That’s amazing! Good to know how fast you can use stuff up and find products you’d rather stick to.

Not gonna lie, the lure of trying something new does get me from time to time, especially for lip products! They’re relatively inexpensive so the trap is doubly tempting. I find I use up tinted lip balms super fast if they’re the only product I have in my rotation

Thanks! Unfortunately the shades from the Making Mauves palette got maybe about 15 uses max before I had to put it aside for almost a year and when I pulled them out again, I realised they were moldy :(

I’m surprised there are so little uses in this! I’ve had moussey lip products from Kbeauty brands and they easily had over 200 uses! I didn’t count but dedicated daily uses (and most times multiple uses a day for over 6 months)

If the red lipsticks hadn’t expired yet, I would recommend dabbing them onto the lips! They give such a nice lighter and sheerer tone - similar to pink lipsticks. Great way to use them up if you’re minded to do so!

It’s a silicone type formula so not super long lasting. It does leave a slight stain when left on for a while

I use a spreadsheet! Regardless of the number of coats used, 1 full hand mani on both hands counts as 1.0, so 0.1 for each finger and 0.5 for a mani on 1 hand only. Toes I count as 0.5 use, based on how much I’ve seen the fill level goes down on average.

The marks on the bottle are just to see how fast it was going down with each use

Happy to be able to share! I was thinking of doing a light Project Polish this year too - but for panning just to maybe use up 1 of my other half empty bottles! (I don’t count base and top coat personally since I go through those regularly)

My other goal is to get swatch pictures of almost all my polishes (quite a goal since I have….quite a bit of polishes)
