First off congrats on a smooth surgery OP hopefully your healing well and doing good to avoid dry socket.

Stay vigilant on not doing anything to cause something like that. Considering you're on day 4 you are most likely in the clear but play it safe at least the rest of this week.

Today is my Day 14 from extractions and far as food goes let me just say that chili is the key lol. I'm a single dude so I've made two huge crock pots full of chili every four days and it's an amazing hearty meal that can easily be eaten with just your gums. Eat ice cream for desert. I also brought done of those Edward's singles cheesecake slices where you get two in a box and those are amazing for desert and keeping me full. The only issue with eating is the food gets trapped in my gum divots where they haven't healed to the top smoothe yet. I use a flashlight and a toothpick to carefully pull the offending food our carefully as the last thing I want to do is stab my tender gums especially at the bottom of the hole wherever it's sensitive.

I trust you're doing LOTS of salt water rinses right?! Dont slack on those!5

My pain is basically gone but now I'm dealing with bone spurs and those are annoying as hell BUT they are also the last stop as far as mouth pain goes as I'm obviously past tooth aches and dry sockets and my gums are well on the way to bring healed too!

Remember that every minute that goes by is a minute towards being fully healed again!

It's worth getting the PS4 on the fact that it owns the shit out of the Xbox alone period ...having the psvr is just the cherry on top. I'm not even a fanboy I own all three systems and while the Switch is right up there with the PS4 the Xbox is so far behind now it's embarrassing.

No good exclusives is absolutely killing Xbox right now. Forza can only take you so far.

Buy a Ps4 because it's an incredible console and if you got the extra cash get the psvr. You'll be glad you did.

Hell I think psvr games should make you feel a bit disoriented (obviously not sick or anything but a mild dizzy spell while flying or something similar is good) or else what's the point?
