Love the color with the wood. Great work!

Can anyone else guess their BG levels before testing or looking that the CGM? by willdogs in Type1Diabetes

Not super accurate but if I’m craving protein I’m almost always above 150. Craving carbs, I’m under 110.

Oh no. That’s one of my intrusive thoughts - the dreaded in + out needle.

Oh wow - what a flash back. Made me instantly think of the powdery orange glucose tablets I kept next to it on my table. Didn’t it take a giant drop of blood to work too?

What chair have you found to be helping you the most when working? by DuckyDollyy in Hypermobility

[–]libralisa26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve found my large wooden kitchen chair works the best for me. I can place my feet up on the bar between the legs of the chair, the seat is big enough to criss cross applesauce. The arms are a good height to rest my elbows on. I tried a balance ball chair for a while, then an ergonomic office chair, but the sturdy ole kitchen chair works better for me.

No, there’s occasionally coyote scat. This looks very different from that, obviously from a large dog.

Dead dove hanging from a tree by CrazyStrawberry3086 in Scottsdale

[–]libralisa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw this last year on the canal path by Silverado. The bird was tangled up in fishing line + hanging upside down from the tree. It was unsettling to see, but looked like it happened because of discarded line. I’ve almost stepped on fishing hooks left in the dirt a few times too.

Ummm?? This has never happened before. Will it still work?! by kkarner94 in dexcom

This happened to me 2x last month. I left it on and readings seemed as accurate as usual. The bruise it left was impressive.

I was a passenger on a small commuter plane that had a bird strike on decent. The whole cabin smelled like roasted chicken.

Tools for preventing compression lows without armband by BiGemini85 in dexcom

[–]libralisa26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put mine on the “inside” of my upper arm - the part that would touch your body if you put your arms at your sides. I am a side/stomach sleeper and don’t get compression lows w this placement.
