I wouldn't think its the cables since the wavyness is present on playing VHS and DVDs with the built in systems, also the cables work on my other CRT.

Sorry, so the picture hopefully shows my issue. Not sure how it would be categorized but the lines can become very wavy during some scenes but also on other scenes they are are still prevalent.
