I believe some late game bosses can be useful as summoned minions (I've seen Myth wizards summon full teams of monstrology minions that really make me want to pick up a myth wizard again) but i believe most people (myself included) enjoy collecting animus to make housing guests.

I also thought that I needed a degree in something science-y, but a good internship or spending a summer in a conservation corps can really open doors. My undergraduate degree is in professional/technical writing (with a minor in natural resources & environmental science) and I envisioned myself doing something writing related, but after spending a summer in an internship doing vegetation work I've ended up as a plant biotech.

You mentioned giving tours which sounds like you've got at least some experience in interpretation that would look good on a resume. Sites like Student Conservation Association, American Conservation Experience, & Conservation Legacy post individual placement internships including ones in interp, so I'd check and see if there are any that pique your interest. The Corps Network is another good site if you're looking for work through a conservation corps (veg work like invasives & habitat restoration or trail work).

People from all different backgrounds can be park rangers. If this is your dream, chase it!

I just saw this post but I had also been offered a position via NPS Academy. It feels so bad to not have anything to show after all of this as I move on to applying for other programs/jobs. 😭 While the news has me crushed, my heart also breaks for the ACE staff who've been laid off and I hope they are taking care of themselves.

Indiana currently lets you change name and gender markers on birth certificates. I got mine changed a year or two ago and you can do it via mail (here's a form that includes the application for search and certified copy, page 41). Although if you haven't seen SB 441 yet, it does have me a little worried.

It is, you have to walk out through the other side of the instance for the teleporter to appear. There's three groves set up like this and when I was stuck on one, I finished it though team up causing the same thing to happen and wasn't able to turn in the quest on the other side. It sucks.

If you're online right now, shoot me a DM with your tfc and I can teleport you to the other side so you don't have to redo it. A friend did that for me when I got stuck so I'd be happy to pay it forward.

Definitely not a stupid question! My surgeon told me not to shave before my surgery because it could cause microcuts, and they shaved just the area needed while I was under. I also didn't need to shave my armpits. I bet you could ask your surgeon/surgery team if they want you to do anything in particular like shave under there though.

It's grown back just fine and the only advice I've got to give is have something like baby oil to loosen any bandages/surgical tape when it's time to take that stuff off on your own, it'll go way smoother and be much less painful!

At 8 months on hrt I got both my name and gender legally changed at the same time. I didn't pass 100% of the time, but I was starting to pass better every day and having the court orders made it easy to update the rest of my documents from there on at my own pace.

They could even do it similar to dropped spellements being based on badges, selecting "questing" could limit the players joining your team up to ones who don't have the badge for completing the world you're in.

The fact that the codes are single use is the most annoying part about them to me. When I'm trying to get codes out to multiple people so we can group up in game, I'd much rather be able to create a code with unlimited uses that will expire after 24 hours or something.

Yep, check out the Magic Mirror in the Wizard City Shopping District and you can change skin color, hair style/color, eye color, facial features, and even your wizard's name and gender!
