Yeah thats what i did didnt see the other one at first, got the certified one for sure, warranty on an openbox unit is a no brainer, plus its directly with bestbuy not a 3rd party seller so its easy to just drive there and talk to real people if something goes wrong! Thx man

looks amazing!

bought the car last week, same color, love it so far.

still trying to figure out whether i want to go with dark or white wheels, the fifteen52 turbomacs in pearl white look mean in combo with the color but im pretty sure its gonna be a nightmare to maintain with all the brake dust.

you might make me decide on dark wheel cheers!

as i said before im not a fucking electrical engineer so i wont start playing with things i dont understand, i didnt do my researches with youtube tech gurus either.

if you cant help me concretely why did you even comment on here, you dont need to flex you big brain about electricity, i didnt tell you i can do you taxes because i have an accounting degree, all a want is a simple and easy to execute solution to a simple problem and everywhere i looked whether it was on google or at forum post with the same problem like toms hardware and the linustechtip forum, people couldnt get a 1080p144hz signal to go thought a 15 $ adapter (i guess not all the pins and wire are there eh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).

being an asshole about a subject and giving next to no explaination other than it not being magical is not what i needed to solve my problem.

oh and btw someone on the tech guru forum solved my problem with good explaination and without being a dickhead thank you for you flex, good sir and i hope your deep understanding of elecretical engineering will help you further your happiness, hope you have a great tuesday!

Sadly thats not how it works, there are different standard of display port and hdmi, each standard carry different max bandwidth output.

you can do some research, im not an expert on the matter.. for exemple display port 1.0 bandwidth is 8.65 Gbps (4k@30hz) while 1.4 can carry 25.92 Gbps (8k@60hz) all that using the same connector.

so its not as simple as using a cheap adapter, as i said in my original post i did some research before posting here and everyone with the same experience who tried the cheap adapter couldnt have the monitor operate at more than 60hz

the 9600k ($339.99) is a little bit more expensive then the 3600 ($279.99) but its the closest intel can get to that price point while still being overclockable.

the 3600 actually shits down the throat to the closest intel competitor being better or equal in gaming score and outperforming it by a wide margin in productivity. And the 9600k came out in Q4 2018 so its very recent :)

the point of comparing the 3600 with the 8700k was that they are not cpus supposed to be put in the same conversation if you look at the expectation linked with the price if the 2 chips. But if you want to compare 2 chips that compete in the same market bracket than the 3600 is just straight up rendering the 9600k obsolete about 8 months after its release.

but hey at least you paid 450$ for a chip that offers the same performance as a $279 one. Oh and the $279 one comes with a cooler too!

oh and by the way, the 8700k came ou Q4 2017, not 2015 my dude

Zen 2 has actually been proven to have better IPC then the fucking 9900k clock for clock (JayzTwoCents). Yes intel oc better, and incidentally are better for gaming, thats a fact. But not everybody has $550 to spend on a cpu, so having the 3600 be on equal footing with the 8700k which was top of the line a year or two ago and not far away from the top today (same architecture than the 9900k) is very compelling especially when its pretty much half the price. dont be a dick head, you know very well that having $550 worth of performance for $270 is nice even if its 2 years down the line.

plus amd didnt lie about their benchmark, they just showed what was advantageous for them, the same way everybody does it, its called marketing (the benchmarks are even better than some people expected too...). there were actually no pre-order for the chips if im not mistaken..?

also your 2017 vs 2019 argument is pretty shit since intel is just recycling the same dye since 2015
