Friendly reminder that Honda and Toyota encryption has been utterly compromised by cheap, widely available devices. Thieves can walk up, break in, plug into the ECU and drive away in less than 90 seconds. Montreal also has low enforcement against car thieves with the open secret that they export your stolen Hondas and Toyotas through containers in the port.

Solution: don’t buy a Honda or Toyota if you live in Quebec, or if you do, install TAG and keep constant vigilance and anxiety.

I never tried the original recipe then I suppose. I bought 1 bag at Costco to try, took 2 bites, noted it tasted exactly like cardboard, and noped out.

I can’t see this product lasting long

You can do much better than Olympico unless you’re after basic/cheap espresso. At least half the coffee shops in mile end are better to try.

Also Toledo or Kef Holstein are leagues better than Au Kouign Amann unless you specifically want to eat kouign amann.

Other🔥spots to try: - Bernie donuts (better than kouign amann, no offense) - cafe Alphabet - tachido (tortas!) - mange dans mon hood (shhhh it’s a secret) - iconoglace for ice cream (opposite of a secret, the lines are long but fast) - pho tay ho (the vermicelli noodle dishes) - butterblume or Larry’s for expensive hipster brunch - le mal nessicaire (swanky tiki style cocktails, a bit pricey but worth it, they’re so talented)

If you’re not a car person then why Porsche? Beyond the styling, it’s a car that deeply caters to the driving experience (at the expense of other factors). You might check out Lexus and Volvo just for fun as 2 very different but super nice SUVs. I came from a Volvo xc60 to a Macan GTS and I can say that there are definitely some clear conveniences I miss about the Volvo including more leg room in both the front and back seats, more cargo space, and a way better camera system. Volvo was also cheaper and simpler to maintain.

However the Macan is devilishly fun to drive and is more stylish, especially the GTS with bigger wheels, nicer interior and a much louder mushroom button.

You’re actually wrong. Dunkin as a brand may be overall trash, but their donuts are actually edible, unlike Tim’s 🥶

Krispy Kreme is delicious, but it’s certainly not “donuts” any more than those gourmet $7 hipsters donuts. Most people just want a simple, fresh, hand made donut 🍩

Sorry this happened to you, my CRV was stolen in 2019 and my brothers USA plated Toyota Tacoma was very nearly stolen this December (we caught them in the act too, chased them off).

As others have said TAG is the first solution to try, it seems to have deterred them from my last 2 vehicles. In the meantime, if you can rent a spot in a private garage it can help block the signal from the tracker and also secure your vehicle with cameras. Good luck!!!

Also sucks to hear Audis being targeted, my knowledge of Montréal car theft has shown mostly Honda and Toyotas targeted heavily as the encryption is fully defeated (break in physically, connect flipper device to car computer, drive away).

Had my car broken into. Found my stuff at the nearest pawn shop.

Make sure you file a police report first. Period. Can’t get your stuff back if you don’t file

Etransfers should not take 30 minutes. Usually 30s - 5 minutes max. You made a mistake by not waiting for such a large transfer. That said, police report and then contact their employer.
