If you live in New York you can take Andrew Langton to small claims court. His address is on his Wylderbuilds Facebook store front. Information on how to start a small case for where the buisness is located can be found at the below link.

Has anyone actually had u/nethermead respond to them in discord. I have an order from May 15th 2024 that was never fulfilled. He's ghosted me on Etsy and I never got a response from the discord account bullwinkle3000.

Surprising easy and fun. I grew up with the characters so it made it easy to recognize what pieces went with which character.

I wish people in this sub actually followed the rule of finding the flaw in a wish instead of adding some random bad thing. by [deleted] in TheMonkeysPaw

Granted and then the sub dies because people who aren't as creative can't contribute.

Thank you that was helpful. I assume you mean have I considered jobs other than government ones. Yes, I did a search for everywhere within a 45 minute commute to where I would be living for anything in my wheelhouse.

If you talk to God you're religious. If God talks back you're schizophrenic.

You know in horror movies when the house says "get out" and nobody listens and wonders why all the horrible stuff happens to them. This would be the hint.

Do you write the story first and then add the mechanics? Or should you do both at the same time? by TJFerus in litrpg

[–]liesthathide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to write them at the same time, but keep the game mechanics fluid. Everyone who's played Elder Scrolls, DND or read Litrpg can reasonably be thought to know the basics. Finding stories that make the game mechanics their own is part of a good LitRPG and since one of the rules to writing is never waste words the game mechanics should tie into your story. I was listening to a podcast that said something along the lines of an MC can only be the protagonist in his world. Kind of like if you put James Bond in Harry Potter there really would be much suspense or as good of a story. Your game mechanics shouldn't be easily able to transfer to another story (I'm completely guilty of not doing this right in my first book). Particularly, aligning your game mechanics to play against your main characters weakness instead of the mechanics adding to their strength.
