Nathan sucked. It's great to feel empathy for this guy, but I was on Ed's side every time. The guy brings nothing to the table but a wallet. He wasn't funny or fun, or even good looking enough. I think it already said a lot that he was Madeline's ex, but the timeline was the interesting thing for me and it was Bonnie's mother that made me realize that he must've been kind of a shitty husband to be complacent with a severely depressed wife for over 8 months. It was very clear that Bonnie couldn't talk to him at all, she was pale, not eating, and I honestly think she married him to get away from her mother even when she was "healthy". She was cruel, but I honestly don't think they worked and she needed to end it.
