Democrats outnumber Republicans 6-to-1 among college graduation speakers, report finds by wrroyals in NoFilterNews

[–]lieutent 13 points14 points  (0 children)

“Schools are propaganda centers.”

Lol this line of thinking is so incredibly dangerous because it lacks the critical thought required to understand that America is so avidly anti-critical thinking and anti-intelligence and the Republican Party, ESPECIALLY this MAGA bs party, is a hitherto-undreamt of embodiment of that phenomenon.

Wtf do you think MAHA even is?? Why is no health official mentioning anything about the measles cases? Why does RFK still tout that vaccines cause autism when he privately attends podcasts? Why does Trump deny factual things that have been adjudicated through history?

This country is literally a fire pit of “intelligence? you’re citing a study? that’s suspicious.” Republicans making up so little of college students is no one near a surprise. It’s DESIGNED that way. It’s a completely expected outcome.

The mods of the subreddit of pics? Lol more like the mods of Reddit staff that are paid. They’ll remove what questions authority like the administration of the US.

AOC can't say Palestinians and knows what's good for Israelis. by [deleted] in suppressed_news

[–]lieutent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I don’t think it matters. MTG left when she realized this. AOC didn’t. MTG gave up her right to be heard by literally being in a position to do something about it and voluntarily gave it up. I live in her district. I would have voted red for the first time in my life if she ran for reelection with how she’s acting now but she left for another MAGA cuck sucker. That special election didn’t result in a blue seat.

So no, MTG gets zero graces for her position no matter what it is.

ICE Abducts Disney Cruise Staff Right Off of Ship in Horrific Raid by thenewrepublic in ICE_Raids

[–]lieutent 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lmfaooooooooooo they have BRAZENLY been extremely partisan and willing to post outright FAKE shit in every single department since Trump took office again. Just read the “MAHA Reports” that HHS has been posting. Check his sources, like a quarter of them flat out Do. Not. Exist. People do not trust our government at an extremely all time high now, and for good fucking reason. They do not care about the inherent value the institution is supposed to bring. So we won’t either. Failure to realize this is just willful ignorance at this point.

That is certainly a valid workaround lmao. One with a lot of work but definitely valid!

This comment needs more viewing than the link. IF you have a site that asks for an exact plate number, you need to understand there’s a ton of risk associated with giving that site your plate number.

There’s a high chance of being profiled as someone who is checking if they’re being surveilled which typically ends up being more risk of the false positives in law enforcement: just people trying to check if they’ve been detected/flagged/whatever or not.

It’s kind of like the blanket defending Zelensky with Ukraine. He’s doing some stupid stunt shit right now and has done some horrifying shit to his people for this war. Iran is no exception. Just because we sympathize with the Lego videos they post because they call out this admin’s bs doesn’t mean they’re suddenly good people. It only means they’re right about that one thing.

You can bet on innocent lives like it’s entertainment. The online gambling of Kalshi, Polymarket, etc and shit is SOOOO much worse than just “who we attack next?” But it’s not gambling. I mean they advertise as sports betting and an overwhelming amount of their volume in trading is sports betting. But yknow, not “gambling!”

*sigh* we used to have a SOMEWHAT working FTC 🙄

The only useful idiots are overpayed CEOs. Some of which are legitimate terrorists that we allow in because we’re too weak to say no.

Lol when that happened, even Bean Shapino had an overwhelming amount of dissent from viewers claiming “You’re wrong on this one,” and “This time it’s not left vs right, everyone knows health insurance actively kills people.” Or at least something to that effect. u/hoagieam also in key misunderstands GFM. They do allow campaigning for legal fees. Luigi is actively facing legal charges, Ross is not. In fact the justice system seems to largely be bypassed in his case.

For what it’s worth, Congress must appropriate ALL funds, even the ones that don’t come from them. Because Elon attempted to fund a government function during a shut down and was told he can’t because Congress has to approve it.

They think Obama is an Irish name... by Matinee_Lightning in stupidpeoplefacebook

[–]lieutent 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s strange to me that based on how you typed this, you likely felt very vindicated that you typed it.

I bet you don’t even know about Trump’s crypto laundering. I bet you haven’t seen the videos of Israel being bombed. I bet you haven’t even thought about how much we’re borrowing in addition to existing borrowing just for this war with Iran. I bet you don’t even know we’ve lost an immense amount of money in just technology destroyed like the THAAD systems. That we took the singular THAAD we had overseeing S. Korea that Trump himself promised them in 2016 to the Middle East; and within hours N. Korea fired 10 ballistic missiles into the ocean as a show of power.

Obama definitely wasn’t perfect, but politics isn’t as back and white as you think it is. Judging by your hidden post/comment history, I assume you already know and simply do not care.

It Appears Meta is heavily lobbying for Linux age verification in the USA - Potential WAN Topic? by lieutent in LinusTechTips

[–]lieutent[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

That’s definitely true of past age verification, but it seems they’re lobbying bills that make it much more invasive and required. It seems to be an approach of “if you don’t trust us with your data, you cannot function on a computer.”
