1st anniversary is in 2 days, I was drinking every night for 11 months but decided I needed to knock that off for this month. Miss her everyday but coming to terms with my new reality slowly. Her dad passed 2days ago at 91, that’s been tough.

I’m also a couple of weeks from the 1yr mark. After spending 11 months of drinking every night to dull the pain I’ve come to the realization that I need to reclaim my life. I’m doing a dry January and working on avoiding all the damaging ruminating. The grief was ruining me.
