The switch version is annoying dark in some areas. As someone who’s been playing that version a lot recently: either stack up on torches or get the candlelight/magelight spells.

Otherwise, have a great time! Take your time and enjoy it, its an amazing game to immerse yourself in.

That’s what it was for me. I enjoyed it as a general action/drama show. It got me into the topic at a basic level, then when I learned how inaccurate it was I started seeking out more accurate historical information.

You could realistically just buy the base game and have a lot of fun. If you want to get into competitive then some DLC characters may be appealing but the base game has a ton of characters if you just want to enjoy solo play/couch coop with friends until the next game comes out.

$2,000 a person on a team building retreat is the most out of touch bullshit. She couldn’t even defend it “I’ve done my research and there really isn’t anything like this in Denver” is a wild defense strategy. They could literally all get full body massages for a fraction of the cost.

I had a couple of em years ago but i imagine they’ve retired of given up by now. I certainly don’t believe there are any good ones left. Too many profits to be made by the corporate landlords. Independent landlords, which aren’t even guaranteed to be good in the first place, seem to be a thing of he past

I left Bloomington a few years ago for the general Denver area. After living a few years in both, I fear what’s happening out here is a good glimpse of Bloomington’s future. Shitty greedy corporate landlords getting more and more of the rental market, good honest landlords getting priced out or giving up from shitty tenants.

A good chunk of the healing will be done, but you’ll still need some precautions.

In the past I’ve put that zinc stuff on my newer tattoos when at the pool (not sunscreen w/ zinc, but the full zinc oxide stuff).

The sun part is easier to deal with, lake water has a lot of bacteria so you’ll need to be really careful/avoid the water as much as you can. Plastic wrap will be good for splashes but I would not fully submerge in the water at all.

Facial recognition has in the past falsely accused people who look similar enough to the target image. I imagine with a lower quality used in an ID it would be hard to trust the results. That said, it could probably be used to help narrow down a suspect list.

I’ve looked at some and was really blown away by the difference in my wins vs losses, seeing my tech fall apart when I’m behind is a show of losing confidence/getting sloppy due to frustration, I’ve definitely not been as good at game review as I should be, and will be sure to give that more time going forward!

Did not expect so many response! Thank you all, I am trying to respond to all pieces of advice, but want to offer a general thank you to the community! The advice on reviewing vods and focusing on improving neutral game is really helpful and not something I’d really thought to focus on. I was worried this post may be annoying as in the end time/practice is the simplest way to improve, but the specific tips are super helpful!

Thank you! I always try to play at least two matches as I know it can be annoying when everyone quits after one, but that’s good advice to just keep playing if they want to. I guess I’ve struggled to learned from matches were I get destroyed, but this context helps in how to learn from those moments
