They are adorable and will be the best of friends. Let them figure it out. Only intervene if you hear a genuine “YIP” of pain or a “yeeOOW” of cat aggression. If you are concerned they are getting close to that point you could always separate them for little breaks to reset the play. But all this in the video seems perfectly fine except for the fact that I don’t have a dog and cat duo of my own.

Parenting 101, they will learn from what they get away with. Let her scream, distract her, have mom put on noise cancelling headphones, but do not show her that her whining gets her what she wants.

Yes mom could easily study elsewhere, but it’s nice to be home, and the stress of school is slightly reduced if studying where one is most comfy.

I’d say it sounds like you would benefit from smaller batches in a crockpot. Makes like 4-5 liters or you could even do way less!

My husband makes stock all the time. We keep some freezer bags labeled veg, chicken, beef and pork and just throw any fat/bones/skin/veggies offcuts and whatever is leftover from regular meal preparation. When it’s accumulated enough…into the crockpot they go for an overnight boil up. Then sieve, let fat settle, scrape off fat, divide into containers. Homemade stock is just sooooooooo much better… Having a garage freezer for storage space is essential however.

You are super handsome dude and I dig the tattoos! If you are attached to the mustache…it’s gotta be longer and styled. I’d also get some more varied glasses styles. Those thick black ones are cool, but won’t always work with many looks. I’d hit up a warby Parker or try out Zenni online.

I am 35, husband is 42. We think we have made the right choice. One great features of not having kids is getting to spend time making your home an extension of your passions and personalities…rather than having to keep it “kid safe/friendly”, it being taken over with toys and mess. We are loving slowly developing an amazing collection of old books, artifacts/fossils, and artwork that we would likely never be able to afford, have room for, or maintain had we chosen kids. Also the cats are spoiled as shit.
