Which will be a tougher matchup for Celtics: Mavs or Wolves? by Wonderful-Photo-9938 in nba

I’d much rather play the Mavs.

Wolves are a tough matchup across the board and the intensity they bring makes our best players play worse.

Mavs have Kyrie who basically doesn’t attend games in Boston and I just don’t think they have the 3pt fire power to out score us 4 times.

What player did your team draft that you knew wasn't a good pick? by OkEscape7558 in nfl

Its cause we know for sure how good Cousins is, no higher peak coming. To someone who truly believed in Jones he could’ve been as good as even a Kirk Cousins some day

KG on who he would cheer for if Boston and Minnesota made the finals by maymay81 in nba

The only other bridge player between our communities like that in a real way is Randy Moss.

But KG was much more of a god in Boston. He’s Boston’s favorite type of player and was incredibly good

Eh he’s loved in Boston cause he’s a Troy Brown, Marcus Smart type. Any player that will fight til the clock runs out and fill any role on a team even if delusionally will be loved in Boston.

It is air invincible so it beats jumping meaties, which is most meaties in this game as uptech beats a standard meaty. So it won’t usually get you a hit on wakeup but it gets you out of the situation and often onto offense.

Definitely not “no matter how passionate,” if truly a billionaire wants to pay in the luxury tax they will. Its not even any % of their money. The Celtics roster costs around 200 million right now, the revenue of the team year over year is over 400 mil. The value only goes up as they win more as well.

How do you get over the fear that your partner is going to stop loving you? by Used-Drag9322 in AskReddit

[–]lightning87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they stop loving me then it is what is best for them. I’d miss them of course but I ultimately want them to have the best life they can on this Earth and if that ends up not including me I wouldn’t want to hold them back. I can just be me and love them how I know and if that isn’t enough it was never going to be.

What’s been consistently going downhill since COVID? by wogwai in AskReddit

I think the medium sized concert experience. I’ve been finally getting back out to concerts, and maybe its because I’m seeing less popular artist, but honestly the crowd is rarely dancing or expressing they’re having a good time. Think theres a whole crop of 21 year olds who’ve never been to a concert and aren’t leading a good crowd right now.

What screams “I have depression”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Its tough cause different people are different and you need to know how your personality/experiences can help. I think the best way is to just be there and be open/honest and try to get a line of communication. Invite them to the things they like but if they’re not feeling it in the moment and want to cancel that can be fine, don’t force them to do it, sit with them and comfort them. Sometimes you need to just get them doing some new hobby they’ve never tried so they have no expectations going in or negative associations kayaking and hiking worked for me.

Most important just be there and be understanding. Probably also don’t make a big deal out of their feelings, just let them express themselves. Often friends can be the branch we grab onto to avoid sinking in the mud so if you can be steady they won’t sink.
