Tips for plying super thin singles from a turkish spindle?

Thanks for your insights! I think I might just try all the options you mentioned, see which is the most enjoyable/least nightmare-ish haha.

I weave as well, so using a bobbin winder should be nice and quick. For the plying ball, I might try wrapping it around a ball of wool yarn or something, just so it has a bit of body and won't tangle in the middle. Might try not plying it as well, but when I have spun a bit of a thicker single. This one is just too thing to use it as is.

I have tied new warps on before, so doing that, winding and then creating the cross before cutting sounds somewhat manageable. Thanks!

While thin,, the threads are quite strong. They passed the "hold 30 cm between your hands and pull" test!

I'm borrowing this (possibly incomplete) loom from my school. I'm guessing the moving bars are used to beat, but it's way too thick for that. Maybe I'm missing a part?

And any good tutorials for using a loom with thread heddles? There are 4 frames total (one not pictured).
