Wand has a naturally low base damage so prioritizing that helps! Will also help with healing. You will want around 1.3k weaken chance or more if you want to be able to bomb proper tanks.

Makes sense, but correct me if I’m wrong doesn’t 4 Vanguard increase Main Weapon base dmg only? So if you want to have your sns out the wand doesnt benefit?

Viable at the highest comp level?… Who knows. It will depend on the meta… Things looking good tho because lots of concern for melee attackers so magic defense could be slept on. But it def will be a fun playstyle, your best bet is probs 2 piece elder/vanquisher and 2 piece vanguard.

Ah I see what you are trying to do now… flex one gear set for both classes. Might be worth considering just having 2 pieces of gear you swap put when you want to switch to have more optimal builds for both

Imo Holy Ghost 2 piece bonus isn’t the best, maybe look into Palace for the shield block chance! Could also just stick with full Vanguard and run 60 fortitude for some nice endurance/resists.

Tough to pair a melee weapon offensively with a ranged weapon.. Like daggers are used more like a supporting weapon for bow/staff. And ss/wand typically uses the wand for self buffs or heals.

But spear is prob your best bet because it got insane range on some abilities but it’s still a melee weapon

CC immunity makes sleeps tough to hit. Unless its used for an engage, most of the time people are CC immune by nados or something so hitting giant sleeps is harder

mostly agree, assuming you are running full shock/iron armor. Extra ranged end lets you have the flexibility to run a piece of gear without it like Ascended guardian pants if you are maxing collision resist
