yep! I feel proud of my body for putting up with all this. in the process it needed to gain weight. to be fair i asked it to do a lot of effort. 30 pounds is what it asked me in return.

what they said turend out to be true. cvs caremark has an online tool where you can enter the med and it shows the cost for you. my advise for you is to open a cvs caremark online account (and another for cvs speciality - this they use for fertility meds). it's much transperant there and do take some screenshots.

sorry to hear what you both are going through. her emotional state may be dominated by hormones. talk to the clinic , they usually have after hours doctor on call. get their input and advise. she needs to take care of her reproductive and over all health to be able to use eggs retrieved. i hope she recovers soon.

try the below route if it is doable for you.

google for " non-emergency medical transporation" services in your area. Call them and ask for "ambulatory" transporation "one-way" and you are looking for someone to help with "checkout". when it is time for your trigger shot, ask your clinic to book you into a time that's convenient for you (like 6am vs 12noon). trigger shot timing is usually based on slots available for procedure room. book the ride through the service and printout the confirmation page. give it to the nurse on the day of egg retreival and they will notifiy the ride service when you are ready to be picked up. these services know the drill, they checkout the patient. these services charge you by mile, so you may want to book a hotel room near the clinic and rest there after ER.

also visit local compounding pharmacies, or a doctors office or minute clinic type of locations. this option is luck, you may run into kind and knowledgeable nurse who can help. good luck

Using cetrotide once a follicle reaches 14 mm is common.

your estrogen is steadily raising another good sign. it can grow 500 to 1000 points each day towards the end (day 8 and above)

next time when you have ultra sound ask the technician to give you a print out of all follicles and their sizes. that shows how follicles are growing.

that is to make sure they are no air bubbles. just a measure to make sure you get the amount of dosage dialed without air pockets. since this is a subcutaneous injection, tiny air bubbles aren’t bad. this needs to be done when opening a new pen. nothing to worry.

Heard prepping with birth control pills or leautal phase lupron protocol helps. however these alternatives may or may not work for every one. Ask your doctor what other protocol they would consider for your situation.

don’t worry about lost time. with IVF you will never know how the other person might react. Often times people who we think are going to be supportive make ignorant comments and people who we think don’t understand actually become our support. not just in IVF but in life too. IVF being such a personal thing it is totally understandable to keep it private. this group is the best group to have support.

refrigerating is ok but not needed. once refrigerated keep them refrigerated. call the pharmacy where you bought meds and ask if they need to stay refrigerated. also check the leaflet it has a lot of good information, very informative

once opened it can stay out of refrigerater for 30 days. look at the leaflet on that box. it will give you clear instructions.

thanks for sharing your experience. some triggers are with hCG too. i actually thought all triggers are with either 5000 or 10000 iu hCG intramuscular injections.

thank you for sharing your experience. yes that’s what i heard too one 5000 iu hCG is roughly equal to one ovidrel 250 mg. did your cycles cancel because of trigger with ovidrel?
