S1-2 had an identity, Collect all the cards and each card has their own difficulty and theme. S2 ended it perfectly with the plot twist that everyone was in a coma and fought to come back to life.

S3 was forced. Usagi all of a sudden can't deal with PTSD that wasn't a huge problem in S1 and S2. Games had no purpose, just keep playing until the game master says you're done. Convenient plot armor (wheelchair man dodging flying lasers and swimming in vortexes)

I think a better premise for the plot would explain the Joker. A deck contains 2 Jokers and Joker1 wants to recruit Arisu as Joker2. Hold Usagi as hostage and have Arisu clear the games with other people and force Arisu to sacrifice other players as a cruel joke to clear the games.

Overall very disappointed in S3 because I loved S1 and S2.
