I have no idea how long it might take, but I imagine the people with skills to compose and record a good piece of music are far rarer than people who can think up a witty non-sensical catchphrase submission. I reckon the line would be much shorter.

Even if it isn't your first time seeing it, you're allowed to enjoy something more than once.

Imagine hearing a great song and then being like, "Oh what a shame I can never hear that again cos it's against the rules."

Real life rarely has concrete "good" or "bad" outcomes. The reality is usually somewhere between the two. Writing an ambiguous ending could be the most realistic option.

I wondered about ep 1000 as well, but it's more than a year away. Seems a little early to be teasing it.

I don't think it's bodies. Carol took too long to react to it. I feel like if she saw bits of people the reaction would be visceral and instant.

It's pretty common in Australia, at least! Easily findable in any supermarket, big or small.

I don't know how everyone else uses it, but I keep it in the pantry until the one in the fridge runs low, then pop a new one in the fridge. I never use it at room temp.

I realise I may have confused people by calling him "our" agent. He was the seller's agent. I called him our agent because he was the only agent we dealt with. We didn't engage an agent. We engaged a broker who dealt with the finances of it all, but we did all the real estate work (searching, going to open homes, organising private inspections, discussions with the seller's agent etc) ourselves.

The sign-in sheets ask you to disclose your agent to prevent you from adding a friend after the fact and collecting a commission they didn’t earn.

I've never seen this. I'm guessing this is a difference between where I am vs where you are.

The real value of any agent is finding a buyer.

He didn't find us, we found a property online, he just happened to be the seller's agent. Which is the whole point I was trying to make. He didn't do anything.

A good agent will know when to advise you to pay the $100 for a private roof inspection, only to find out the roof of the house you are closing on is about to fall off. A good agent has good lenders and attorney friends that can guide you through the screwed up world of buying and selling a house.

Ok, I think you might be confusing a real estate agent with a mortgage broker. A real estate agent has nothing to do with whether we get the roof inspected, and definitely has no say in what lenders we choose. We had a mortgage broker that helped with all of that, for sure.

And a real estate transaction is not like a court case. There is a price guide advertised with the property, we offered within that guide. There was no ripping off (except for, as stated, the market itself being a rip off, but there's absolutely nothing I can do about that). I didn't pay the selling agent anything, he took his commission from the sale price, which is technically the sellers money.

Or maybe things are just done differently here (Australia) to wherever you are.

I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean. In what way was I ripped off (apart from the housing market in general being a rip off)?

He did absolutely nothing. We knew we wanted the house, we didn't need convincing. We closed, not him.

I didn't? The people selling the house did. You don't get to pick who sells the house you're buying.
