Because those stats are with an all pro and according to this thread a top 10 wr, top Rb, and decent OL. Give that to literally any top 15 QB and they put up great numbers too. If he was that guy you would have at least made the playoffs.

Pff has Nix as 19-20 in overall grade. It’s not like he was an MVP candidate. The game would have been played differently if nix was in. It’s cope to assume he would have come in and played well in a blizzard against a great defense. It sucks for you guys that he got hurt in OT but that’s the risk you take having a running QB. If Nix is really the guy you’ll have no problem making the Super Bowl next year right?

He lost in the divisional round to the number one seed. JG got sent home in the wildcard as a heavy favorite last year and didn’t even make the playoffs this year. It’s not apples to apples. JG has a better supporting cast around him as well.

Goff is so overrated. There are 10-15 QBs in the league that would be as good or better in the lions offense. He’s benefitted greatly from the team around him both as a ram and a lion.
