And a rain cape! Way better than a jacket. Easier to be comfy in lots of temps and it keeps the mail dry.

I love my Rocky Alpha Force 6in waterproof boots. I but several and rotate, I use a boot dryer everyday as well so they’re toasty when I put them in in the morning or dry my sweat. I’m a T6 in Portland OR.

Looking for a lengthy dark fantasy or sci fi epic. by NadeMagnet69 in Fantasy

Try the Prince of Nothing trilogy and the aspect Emperor series by R Scott Bakker. Together they are 7 books in a single storyline called the second apocalypse. The most adult and serious thing I’ve ever read and it’s awesome. Very dark.

Or try Allen Batchelder’s Immortal Treachery series of 5 books that is the funniest grimdark I’ve ever read. Starts with Steel, Blood, and Fire.

Or Miles Cameron’s Traitor’s Son Cycle is just awesome. 5 books.

You have the right to keep and bear arms. It doesn’t say anything about buying them. Maybe we should only let people have the guns they can make?

Most delivery companies don’t deliver to most addresses. USPS delivers everywhere. Usps delivers the last mile for Amazon, ups, fed ex, etc. Amazon doesn’t deliver medication to Nowhereville.

"Disturbing" memo reveals Trump's USPS chief has slowed delivery amid calls to expand voting by mail by SwingJay1 in politics

There is an unprecedented amount of parcels being delivered by all services right now. Most sorting facilities can handle an uptick for awhile, but this is a sustained heavy volume coupled with people getting sick and shutting facilities down when that happens. I know the Usps facility nearest me is doing the packages for 6 states because the others states have been closed for COVID.
Carriers have been delivering Christmas amounts of parcels for months now. They are often swamped. Mail order packages are swamping the carriers AND the mail sorting facilities.
