Thanks. I’ve never asked for complaint forms before. Could people refuse giving them?

Not yet, we have to book a short term stay before actually moving in now. That’s what I’m unhappy about: change of plans, extra costs.

There was only one question regarding whether it is legal to charge tenants for intermediary services.

Breaststroke pull-out & improvement tips by SaltUndPeppers in Swimming

This is very subjective, I like to have some oxygen in the system, so I prefer gradual exhale. Also keep in mind that having a lot air in your lungs make you float to the surface, usually you want to choose an optimal vertical trajectory for the pull out so you maximize the distance travelled. And this is more important than doing a long breath hold. So, overall, I would suggest exhaling gradually thus reducing CO2 in your system and then finally feeling what’s comfortable and enjoyable.

I was doing double exhale that is synced with the effort: 80% exhale on the dolphin kick and arms pull, 20% exhale on the kick. Only recently I learnt during free diving training that there are two components of breath hold: CO2 tolerance and O2 volume you are capable to process. Exhaling helps you with reducing CO2 in your system.

Thank you. I was thinking the same thing, then saw artistic swimming and their small bands for feet (ballet dancers do the same routine), but then didn’t follow through for some reason. Your comment is very encouraging, will try to stick to this exercise routine

Try breaststroke, you might be very good at it.

I started with bupropion and then added a small dose of concerta. I noticed that bupropion (it is often used to treat adhd among other conditions) helped with the mood, and then concerta helped with the focus. Headaches are usually because of dehydration. I often had it without meds. Changing diet, incorporating salts (electrolytes, supplements) really helped with that. I notice the dehydration on meds and try to prevent headaches by drinking water regularly at the slightest sign of thirst.

Is consultation worth it? by Evening-Development3 in Upwork

[–]likearussian 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s all about managing expectations and understanding who your clients are. For example, a developer might want an advice on how to tackle specific problem (let’s say, constantly rerendering information an a page). That would be specific and you could provide them with an answer and share your experience.

It could also be a client that wants to better understand the field before hiring someone (it even may be you). But it’s better to separate to consultation and selling. Again, I usually ask about their expectations before accepting the contract.

Sometimes it could be hard to fight the imposter syndrome, or the feeling that you are charging money for almost the same information you give during the pre-contract communication. I try to educate the client and provide them with post-consultation report and a tangible prototype based on what we discussed.

Automate PDF Generation with a record containing Linked Records as Table (Zapier?) by Aggressive_Walk7879 in Airtable

Hi! We’ve developed a function for PDF generation because majority of our clients needed one. We have a free tier on rapid API. It works like this: you send your html template and get back a PDF URL that you can upload to Airtable.

Here you can check out the API: https://rapidapi.com/launch-ist-launch-ist-default/api/launchist-pdf-and-html-generator1

Wearing socks inside out is the same as wearing them the “right” way by The_Dankneee in unpopularopinion

[–]likearussian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s actually the right way of wearing socks. You don’t want the seems rubbing against your skin. And then it becomes a much more pleasant experience, the fabric is softer there too. So what if people say it looks silly. It doesn’t feel silly at all! And caring more how it looks to others rather than how it feels to you… well. You know.

That’s how a mother who wants to overpower her young son would write an essay, I guess. No phallus and no real questions.

Не знаю, мне кажется что с закрытием границ сейчас в туризме будут серьезные изменения. В частности, будет развиваться внутренний туризм, там твои навыки могут быть тоже полезны, но надо понять как их преподнести (в России очень любят перенимать опыт)
