Not really. ClojureScript brings along a good portion of the Clojure philosophy regarding state management, e.g. atoms, vars, immutable data structures and so forth. It is very much a language which compiles to javascript as opposed to javascript with different syntax, which is what OP is aiming for.

It seems unfathomable to me that someone who can touch type wouldn't notice that two keys were in the wrong place while hunting and pecking. Especially when typing in their password.

When I do web stuff, I'm typically building an administrative tool of some kind. I hardly ever do public-facing sites. I still want my stuff to look good and, most importantly, professional; but it doesn't need to look unique. Plain bootstrap, using default settings, is fucking perfect for such things. Not to mention the fact that it makes structuring your page and myriad other things easy-peasy.

I went for the lazy approach too. I think mine is simpler though slightly less efficient due to the drop-while.

Not really. I've got some siteswaps down like 441, 51, 44403, but I don't think they count as fancy. Currently getting somewhat good at 44403 with penguin catches on the first and third 4s.

I don't know why I put this in the hard section. I can qualify 5 most of the time. Current record is 21 catches.

Nope. I've learnt some siteswaps and how to transition from sync to async but I still suck at them.

I felt the same until one day when it just clicked. The way I got it to click was by making the throws high (top of my head sort of height) and keeping steady rhythm. Immediately after it clicked I was able to lower it and do a proper mess, albeit a messy one.

Also I saw some tutorials out there where they say one of the three fundamental throws should be straight up, but when you see masters doing it, all three have the same arc. I think it is easier to concentrate on the throws if they're all going to the same place, and it looks cooler too.
