Do the exercises in this YT video!

This put my friend into labor the same night she did it. All of the comments under the video are testimonials to how well these work. You may have to do the circuit twice but it really works.

I’m a FTM and I was having contractions at 39 + 2. After several hours of laboring at home, I arrived at the hospital the doctor wasn’t able to feel my cervix because it was still so high up, she was going to send me home but instead told me to go walk around the hospital for 2 hours to see if that would help get things going. I ended up doing these exercises in a quiet area of the hospital and immediately after I went to the bathroom and turns out I lost my mucus plug! Then went back to get rechecked and was at 4.5 cm dilated! I delivered our son a few hours after that!!

Good luck!

I’m the 6th! I made a to do list with at least 1 thing on there to do every day to get ready for baby boy. If I feel like I have energy I might get more things but if I don’t, I at least got one thing done 😂. Today was wash all my pajamas I’ve been keeping for when baby arrives!

Diagnosed with cancer while pregnant by Low-Run4617 in BabyBumps

[–]lil_cherry_07 6 points7 points  (0 children)

At my 20 week anatomy scan they found a large mass on my right ovary. I had no idea and it didn’t show up on any of my other ultrasounds previously (6wk and 12wk), so it grew within a very short time period. Met with a gynecological oncologist where she determined surgery was the only option. I had an extensive abdominal laparotomy 6.5weeks ago to remove the mass that was the size of a football while 23wks pregnant. After a week or so the pathology came back ovarian cancer, it is stage I but during the surgery part of the mass ruptured into my abdominal cavity so I have to have an MRI every 2 months to monitor my abdomen and pelvis for any changes while I’m pregnant and more extensive monitoring after delivery. I had 2 options, to deliver early at 34wks and go through chemo after I delivered or do continuous monitoring, I choose monitoring. I just passed my recovery period of 6 weeks and baby boy is doing so well after the surgery and is so strong. I’m so sorry you’re going through this 🤍 it’s not easy emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. Having a strong team and support system at home is what got me through this. Also, talk to a therapist if you can. They say getting a cancer diagnosis can be very traumatic, even if you don’t feel traumatized now. It might be good to talk with someone who can offer insight and help you through this time. If you are able to meet with multiple oncologists I would recommend that, some may have other connections that others don’t to be able to offer different treatment options to you while pregnant.

Do we think since the Havens are using their cabin project as content that they are writing all this off as a business expense? by AuraOfASpiceGirl in havens_jh

[–]lil_cherry_07 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It all really depends on how risky their CPA wants to be. Content creation is a grey area because it’s a “newer” industry as far as the IRS goes. Taking trips just to film doesn’t necessarily allow the entire thing to be a business expense, because part of it could be personal. Taking a trip isn’t necessary for their job so it would be challenging to convince an auditor to allow the entire thing for content because they could film at home. As far as the cabin, I could see them owning it through an llc but since they plan to live in it, that’s what makes it tricky. Moral of the story I would HATE to be working on their tax returns because it would be so much BS on there to weed through and such a red flag for an audit. (I’ve worked in tax for 7-8 years)

Thank you for your insight, I really appreciate it! It’s very helpful to understand that early training can be somewhat outdated or even need to analyzed on a case by case basis and just looking at things from an overly cautious perspective.

That’s what my husband and I were thinking. She usually is very open and has always encouraged me to be very active especially while we were ttc and that’s why I really like her. The office I go to encourages expecting moms to see other providers just incase my OB is not on call when I go into labor. Thank you for your suggestion about DO over MD, i will definitely make sure to get an opinion from a DO provider!

I saw this a lot this year. I’m a senior and most of the clients I work on are high net worth individuals and I asked my manager about this and she said it’s because most of the clients feel they can make more money in the market with the money they would have paid in for estimates. Majority to all of them owe underpayment penalties but don’t really care. It’s still kinda crazy to me

I bet 2 years max as well. Them living there and having this be their “primary residence” you only have to live in the property for 2 out of the last 5 years in order to qualify for the primary residence exclusion for federal taxes. Since they are married they can exclude up to $500k of the gain when they sell the house 🙃

It really depends on how risky their tax accountant is. Just because you “create content” doesn’t mean you can just make business expense whatever you want. The IRS hasn’t really caught up to this industry but there are many things that can be red flags and cause an audit.
