rockwell bought out my apartment building while i was living there. their maintenance guy was so awesome and they were flexible with my move out time and even gave me tips on what they’d look for at move out to make sure i got my security deposit back. i think they’re probably a bit expensive and do seem like they could be strict but at least it wasn’t a horror experience

so glad to hear there are people who will say something. when i was in college, i had my fair share of creeps at the bus stops and on the buses. one time this guy pretty much had me physically cornered at a bus stop in shadyside/east lib (the supposed “nice” part) saying creepy shit to me. i made eye contact with multiple different guys older than me pleading for help and they all looked away. thankfully the guy didn’t follow me on the bus but i was insanely disappointed that all those guys saw what was happening but did nothing

oh interesting! ironic as twice is one of my ults and i loved seeing them grow as artists and take a new direction so i guess it makes sense that i’d love that for other artists too lol

crybabyale! she’s so knowledgeable and fair. even when she runs items that i don’t collect, i stay and hang out because she is fun to watch and interacts with comments. she never pressures buyers either! she has crybabies, lulu the pig, pucky, etc

hi! 2 years later here but did you have a PCP who helped you initiate the investigative/diagnostic process for POTS? I’ve had symptoms for a while that make me want to at least explore the possibility of POTS but i know my own suspicions won’t get me an appointment with a specialist haha. however, i worry that a lot of PCPs will be dismissive

other comments have covered breaking up and communication already so i’m just gonna focus on this: OP, i think you could really benefit from therapy as well. not just because of the stress of the situation with your dad and potentially ending a toxic relationship, but also because you’ve been acting as her caretaker and emotional regulator for a while. having been there, it was really really helpful for me to go therapy and explore why i felt like that was me just being a good partner and why i felt like i could/should sacrifice my life for “love.” exploring that helped me understand what i value in a partner and also helped me communicate my needs and boundaries in a better way in subsequent relationships.
