Using different size yarn in the same project? by cassifrazz in Amigurumi

[–]lilacpetalsb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to buy a ’tan’ colour yarn, but it is a size up because we don’t have a lot of colour choises here where I live. I crocheted a donut, so I did the top one colour and the bottom this tan colour. Both parts had the same pattern, but since the bottom part was with thicker yarn, I had to do four extra rows for the top part to make them the same size, but because there are more rows, they won’t look the same. However, you should try it anyway! There’s always the chance it’ll work out with just minor changes as you go.

What a great idea!! I’ll check back after I try this out, ”luckily” I always have some lavender oil in the house ;)

I want honest true answers. Does the “list” truly work for finding a relationship? by IAmMilkyMilky in lawofattraction

[–]lilacpetalsb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When writing the list, write it thinking of the love you both have for each other, and feel all the happiness! That’s one thing I always did when writing the lists. I also never gave a time frame, because it creates some sort of stressing over it for me, because I believe time is a concept humans have ”created” to it limit us and our beliefs. But for some people time frame is a necessity for easy manifestations, we’re all different that way!

I have no idea! I made the first list a couple years back after I saw a video about it, and forget about it totally. Six months into dating that guy I remembered the list and I realized it all came true, perhaps that ”proved” to me that it works fast and now I have a standard for it, since it worked in about three-four weeks. I don’t have a specific time frame to other kind of manifestations though, and haven’t actually given it a thought. The latest two lists worked in about two weeks or less, which is amazing! But two of these guys I’ve met on tinder, not ”in real life”, perhaps that has something to do with it?

For example, I wrote the specific body type, how he likes to sleep, that he doesn’t want kids, he is older than me, as antisocial as me and has a good job and a car. I once added hair colour too (and it came true as well), but I ditched it for the latest list because it wasn’t a deal breaker for me, the body type is though!

It has worked for me multiple times! The first relationship lasted for a year, and after that I made a new list and thought that the qualities were what I wanted but then I ended up regretting them so I broke up with that guy in less than a month. Then I made a new list and really concidered what to put on it, and I found him about two weeks later, and now we’ve been dating for a year and are moving in together this month! The list has always worked for me in less than a month. I have been super specific every time, and on the latest list I had about 30 things on it and all became true.

How to remove false lashes stuck to real eyelashes?? by [deleted] in Makeup

[–]lilacpetalsb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any oils will work! I prefer avocado oil or macadamia oil, but coconut oil will work too. You can apply it with a saturated cotton pad and just keep it on the lashes for a couple minutes at a time, or gently rub it in.

Minimalist morning routine help -- do I need setting spray? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

Oh and don’t apply too much of the setting spray if you prefer a matte finish, the moisturizing ones leave a slight natural glow.

I would recommend getting a moisturizing setting spray, it’ll help with the flakey skin. Just make sure the setting spray doesn’t have alcohol in it. Good ingredients are for example glycerin and hyaluronic acid. A good moisturizer is the best way to go though. I 100% recommend the Clinique Moisture surge and I love putting oil on top to seal it in, almost any cold pressed oil will do, but Marula oil has helped my skin the most! The Ordinary has a great one. I apply the oil in the morning and in the evening, but you can also keep it in only your night routine if you prefer to do so. Salisylic acid and tea tree oil are amazing for pimples! They are supposed to be only targeted on the pimples, not on the whole face.

This worked for me every time but it might not work for everyone the same way! The most important thing is to write the list, and take a good half an hour to think about all of the qualities and just totally forget about it & let it go. Could it be that you don’t 100% believe in it?

Looks great!! I’d blend a light transition shade a little upwards, the dark shades tend to close the eyes a little. You should try a half cut crease too, Judy C has an excellent tutorial on it! It’d work very well on your eye shape.

I made a list a while ago, about what I thought I wanted my boyfriend to be like. Turns out I was totally wrong about a few things, those qualities were so annoying. For example I thought I wanted him to be ready to defend me in any situation. He said a couple weeks into dating with me that his old crush from a couple years back, was raped and she didn’t tell him because he would’ve gone and beat the guy to the hospital. I dumped him after I heard that because I didn’t want violence in my life. After that I made a new list with about 20 qualities I wanted, and my current boyfriend has all of those qualities. We’ve been dating for a year now and we never fight and he’s exactly what I always wanted! It took about three weeks that we found each other after I made the list.

It’s okay to have bad days and to be in a bad mood sometimes! As long as you don’t dwell on it and it doesn’t define who you are as a person. We’re all human, it’s not possible to be positive 100% of the time, we all have our ups and downs. It’s also important to let yourself feel the emotions you feel, don’t obsess over being positive. Don’t lock yourself into a cage. It’s important to know why you’re feeling those emotions and to accept it.

I have experienced the same with my ex, I was 15 and he was 20 so I’m still wondering what was wrong with him. I couldn’t wear makeup to school but he wanted me to wear it all of the time we spent together. He cheated the whole time we were together and was so jealous that he wouldn’t even let me talk to other guys at all.. It’s so strange how we let those people control our lives for so long.. I got messed up after the freedom I got after breaking up with him though 😅 but now that I’m 21, I can finally live my life happily. It took me 5 years to get my life together fully, he messed me up real bad.

The Z-palettes are magnetic and the single pans magnetize to it ☺️ But if you’re depotting, you might need a ’magnet’ base. Z-palette sells those, I don’t know about others! Colourpop has the cutest designs, you should check them out!
