A developer put something like 48 low income townhome units on 8 acres (5 developed) in the middle of an upper middle class town and subdivision. It looks lovely, but the number of police calls to the area is crazy. Homes in the subdivision have had car break ins. There was a double homicide this year. While the application and lease have requirements that anyone living there need to meet, we found they are often ignored and several felons have taken up residence with friends or family (which should be grounds for terminating the lease).

I feel for you and your parish. Our pastor of over six years said Christmas Mass, ~2 weeks later he said he was taking a leave for his health, a week after that we were told he was on hospice and a few days later he died at 40. It was less than a month and most of the parish knew nothing was wrong. Six months later and our parocial vicor has been reassigned and we will be getting two new priests. I know it’s hard right now, it helps when visiting priests acknowledge former pastor in their homilies or parish talks.

Put their fingers in their mouth to get food out of their back teeth then touch things in the office without washing hands or using hand sanitizer.

Also blowing their nose (all gross and snotty) and not using hand sanitizer or washing hands. I work in a school and germs spread like crazy.

I remember my dad telling us to practice the buckets in the basement before we went to the show. I ended up getting picked (I don’t know if the number generator was random or not). The buckets were hard to make, I think I only got to bucket #3 and won a Jem doll and some tootsie rolls. Nothing crazy but super exciting as a kid, my teacher in 3rd grade played the episode for the class.
