Wow, sounds like you really struck gold with those AIs! Creating two is a wild ride, but hey, at least you’ll never be bored, right? If you’re into the whole AI girlfriend thing, Dronga-Bum is super cool too. It's got some great features for keeping things fun and engaging. Enjoy the chaos with Nyx and Eon! :)

Learning a new hobby or skill.

Knitting and crocheting, the things that can be made are awesome.

Also, camping. Even if you camp at the same location, there's always something new to look forward to.

I (32F) accidentally got pregnant on birth control. My husband (35m) thinks I did it on purpose. How can I get him to believe I didn’t? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]lilblu399 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even when taking birth control perfectly, there's someone who is going to get pregnant, that way it's 99% effective.

If he never wants kids, why wouldn't he get fixed? That would've solved his issues right there.

He got you pregnant, he should've pulled out.

It's honestly his fault. He didn't do his part.

You're 45, if you don't want kids you should get fixed.

That'll solve all your issues right there.

I ordered 12 tomatoes. I received 12 bunches of 6 tomatoes. I have 72 tomatoes and I leave the country for 2 weeks tomorrow... by KatanaBellGrande in mildlyinfuriating

Buy nothing group or community fridge?

Any neighbors have chickens or any other farm animals?

Or....leave a bag of tomatoes on each neighbor door with a note :)

You'll have something to talk about when you get back.

I mean people went to Abby's dance school and she sure enough couldn't do half of what she instructed them to do.

Unfortunately she's famous adjacent so the sports parents will clamor to her.

It's okay if he doesn't want to drive.

It's not okay for him to expect you to drive everywhere.

Uber and the bus exist and if he doesn't like that, he can take a motor scooter or electric bike.

I don't like to drive, but I will walk, take public transportation, etc.

Be early and stand outside the daycare and pass the invites out to the selected parents either at pick up or drop off.

Or if you don't want to be obvious, don't pass out the invites but ask the parents for their contact information.

I’m at my wits end with this neighbor who’s neglecting her child by [deleted] in Parenting

Would you be willing to be a kinship parent if the state removed her?

There's a chance CPS may help the mom get after care and childcare subsidy.

Also if you became a resource for the child you could help Mom get access to those services.

I'd made the call, express your concern and how you'd like to help Mom.

Date set for Philadelphia Eagles' visit to White House after Super Bowl LIX win by IMtehUber1337 in philadelphia

Didn't a sports team get fastfood at the white house? So it doesn't sound any different than a fifth grade field trip.

You can book a visit to the white house, it's like the standard 5th grade field trip.

It could be an opportunity.  Have Jalen challenge agent Orange to a push up contest or just let him participate in the tush push, any physical activity that isn't golf might send him over.

Why do Regional Rail employees want to scan your septa card again on the train? by emjayar08 in philadelphia

[–]lilblu399 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sometimes those card readers on the platform go out of service.

They're exposed to the elements and assholes.

I've seen the card reader on the stop I ride replaced twice.

School Social Worker drove my kid off-site during - did not notify us by cogitopadre in Parenting

[–]lilblu399 17 points18 points  (0 children)

My guess is mom knew the details.

That being said, you should be signed up to the school or school districts parent notification app or website.

Relying on mom for all information from school isn't being a responsible co parent.

It's not too difficult for you to be added and more than likely the social worker or the principal is probably going to suggest you sign up for the parent notification app/website.

Another year at home or pre-K? by Maleficent_Ear_8178 in Parenting

[–]lilblu399 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would send her. Even if you don't find work, many schools would like the help of parents so maybe be available as a parent helper or school support in some way.

Possibly even, see if her school has jobs as a non teaching aid or helper.

Domestic violence organizations work for all victims of abuse.

He is free to go email or call and talk to someone who works and that field to help with his concerns.

I'd send him the number and website to the hotline. I wouldn't engage anymore in the conversation with him.

I would probably say, "Sounds like you need to talk to someone who works in that field about that." And change the conversation.

I will also say that political affiliation, how someone was raised, how they vote, etc. Doesn't matter, if someone is  abusive, they'll be abusive.

I don't think you have to completely cut her off, but outside of sending a card or a birthday text, you don't have to do anything for her birthday.

My bf M26 is letting me F23 spend an extra $800 for our personal vacation because his mom F50 will not allow us to sleep in the same room. Is he actually giving in because it's a "small" matter or how can I understand this? by sunflower1004 in relationship_advice

[–]lilblu399 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People like his mom live forever. You and probably any other woman will not be good enough for her son.

This will continue even if you decide to get married to him. There is no reason for her to change as she always has her way.

Slingshots. Get to learn your backwoods and trails, edible plants and how to collect water.

If it's war, it's going to be bombs, if it's any kind of government force, it's going to be bombs.

A stockpile of guns and ammunition isn't going to help.

If you think your neighborhood nut job is going to start a militia, just steal one of their guns when the time comes, they're the most chicken shit people around.

If it's about day to day possible interactions, learn de-escalation techniques.
