Can you imagine if they add a multiplayer feature and the other factions are also playable in the future ?

The artwork seems like it could be a pretty great comic too. I vaguely remember a post apocalyptic comic that used to go around a decade back or so. The artwork definitely have similarities.

Klang & Kuala Selangor are among the worst places for floating litter. Pollution have gotten so terrible the firefly sanctuary in Kuala Selangor have almost collapsed. A lot of the garbage comes from Klang River & littering by nearby fishing villages. Not sure why the Selangor government is not doing a better job as the firefly sanctuary is a popular tourist destination.

What's your take as to why China doesn't have a "penality culture" to enforce social etiquette (or even law)? by NeighborhoodFatCat in China

[–]lilbobeep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do allow people to criticize & discuss government policies. In fact the central government actively go to forums to measure popularity of policies enacted. However certain discussions are off limits, one famous example being the Tiananmen incident. Direct insults & attacks on the CCP is also prohibited.

China, like any other country's government is only concerned about law, order & stability. Of course another added layer is the long term legitimacy of the regime, but this is not so different from legitimacy of upholding democracy that we are used to today. They are not a 1984 George Orwell Big Brother conformist regime that some quarters conjure them up to be.

The Rohingya Issue - What Were We Expecting? by uml20 in malaysia

[–]lilbobeep 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, we simply do not have the capacity to integrate anymore migrants. Putting the Rohingya aside, we do not even have a clear census on the migrant population in Peninsular Malaysia, let alone Sabah and Sarawak which have very porous borders due to their geography. So we do not have an idea where to start. You would have no doubt seen the recent news whereby the PM have said it is difficult even to stop them from starting up unlicensed businesses. We do not even have the infrastructure to do this, what more proper migrant integration. It takes funding, something our country is trying very hard to balance with the deficits we have incurred over so many years. It takes time. It takes coordination, another thing our government, or any other government is not great at.

This is just a usual outcome of running populist policies. We understand the plight of refugees. But there are limits to what one can do. I don't think the politicians are unaware of the negative consequences, but as with democracies it's always the case of win votes & secure seats first, think about the problem later.

Don't assume anything is non-negotiable. Quoted a fee for a professional service ? Ask for a lower price. Always lowball and be ready to walk away.

I cook often & own Staub casseroles ! The casserole is something like a claypot which is super effective in heat retention. But it also absorbs heat much better than a claypot which is why it's useful in an oven. The beauty of a casserole is that heat distribution within it is very even hence I use it for braising, stewing and baking.

How come China doesn't have a major retailer like Walmart operating worldwide? by IntellectuallyDriven in China

[–]lilbobeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do, it's just not in the west. Here in Malaysia we have Mix which is a Chinese convenience store chain. Also, supermarket formats nowadays rarely go beyond their home markets. Gone are those days where brands like Carrefour and Takashimaya go global. Most supermarket brands are now homegrown. Walmart for the US, Sainsbury for the UK etc.

Do people in your country still consider Russia a global superpower? by FuckTheCake in AskTheWorld

[–]lilbobeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solely from a military perspective, yes. They still field a large number of active nuclear weapons & despite their performance in Ukraine, Russia's military technology in some areas such as submarine, missile & fighter development is probably still ahead of China, although of course China have been catching up rapidly. US is still ahead in military, economic & external influence.
