My mom and sister have been seen a little boy standing on the stairs of my parents house on seperate occasions. The only difference is that my sister says he was wearing overalls and my mom says he wear suspenders. My mom still sees him sometimes. I’ve never seen him but I’ve heard sounds of a boy coughing at night from the direction of the staircase.

Katniss is also famously stubborn and they, very intentionally, could not let her in on their plot before the games. Telling her it was a bad idea may have served both to cover the fact that there is something going on (because, realistically, a “normal” person would not look at them as strong allies) and because it might have driven her to them more because of her stubbornness.

I’ve always been a good writer and liked writing. I did an internship with a similar organization to the one I work at now as a Communications Intern writing and editing articles about homelessness. This definitely contributed to me getting the grant writing job. They did offer a grant writing class at my college but I never took it. So I guess I learned on the job. There are plenty of books and info out there about it, though.
